buttock Posted January 10, 2008 Share Posted January 10, 2008 Thanks to all, there's a little story behind this. Years ago in CBM Pat Kochanek wrote a book about his favorite MH books. A couple of Adventures, maybe a More Fun IIRC, and this book. As pointed out by several others, this cover really stood out from the run. As I recall, he mentioned something about owning a run of Boy Commandos, and couldn't bear to let this one go - with a similar story behind the other books he noted. He mentioned being offered 10X guide for this book. That always made me interested in finding a copy, but the right one was never available. When this one became available, at a very reasonable price, I jumped all over it. Given the way he gushed over it in his article, I was surprised to see it available. It came with a Greg Manning auction sticker from 2001, so I guess it was sold initially then. Anyone know how to dig up those auctions/results?
