I picked up a Spy Smasher #6 a few weeks ago and loved it so much I went looking for more. Here's a Spy Smasher #11 that arrived in today's mail. Love the paratrooper cover. I think someone else around here likes those too.

Here's a shot of the first splash. In the first story Spy Smasher investigates "haunted" machines at an American war plant, and this is a pretty cool action shot of him fighting one. Of course the "hauntings" are really trickery by Japanese saboteurs. :o

This centerfold splash I really like. Nice colors, nice layout, and I like the way the flags frame the scene. And the villain, the Man Without a Flag, has a delightfully ludicrous origin story:

"I was born on a Red Cross ship on the International Dateline! The Captain was Swedish! My father was German! My mother was American! The Ship flew the Dutch flag! I WAS CLAIMED BY NO COUNTRY!

For years a wrangle went on over my citizenship. Then my parents died! The ship went down with all records! And I had no country! NO COUNTRY AT ALL! I was bewildered, lost bitter...

So I became the Man Without a Flag. If no country would have me, I would bow down to no FLAG!

I sell my services to the highest bidder!"

Nice books Ronaldo!

I get a lot of my GA from a collector friend...and he always asks me to post pictures here...I'm kind of shy about posting books, but I like to post them, in order to thank my friend. MOST of these were from him, but not all, and some I've had for a while...also I realized that a few are ending on Ebay tonight (I need to pay for something else;) So, I'd better show the picture FAST, while I still have them:)

So this is to share with you guys, but also for my friend Richard:)

Here is the shot, Richard:) Hope you like them:) Pictures aren't too good, but the books are charming of course, thanks for helping me obtain them, I always appreciate your help!

I've been tracking some of those you put on ebay. I was very tempted to bid on the 17, but I'm pretty broke at the moment. :insane:

:headbang: I can't wait to flip through that one! Awesome book Ryan!

Very true that you are treading in some dangerous water with a DC like that. The good thing is its like crossing a piranha filled river to get to a pile of gold.........or Jessica Biel if you are Rick

Either way you are a ^^

Thanks Scrooge!

I notice its sold out on the website, but maybe a LCS has issues still on the racks.

I think Guardineer is quickly moving up the ranks of my top ten GA artists ...

Maybe we can convince Greg Theakston to do a collection of his early works??? :wishluck:

Greg, you out there?
