Jack, sorry to quote this for the dozenth time but I would love to know more about this story. I notice that they refer to the nurse as Russian in the caption. I can't remember ever seeing a WWII story with a sympathetic Russian main character before. Are there further references to her nationality in the story, or is it a fairly generic war story? Any chance we could see another page or two?

I'm not ignoring you -- not with malicious intent anyway.

Just back from 3 days out of town and will post more info and maybe more scans as time allows after I catch up a little.

Love that robot cover. I always wanted a recreation of the Sunday strip too.

Great material guys!! Is the sunday page adapted from the actual comic??

Speaking of Superman and robots, i saw a strip reprinted in that old "SUPERMAN: 30's to the 70's" book (i think), and it had clark and lois going to see a Superman cartoon, with giant robots, and clark kept trying to get lois out of the theater so she wouldn't see his identity.

Anyone know what comic book that was from? was a really cool story.

The best of the best from #2 to #26 in my opinion (worship)

What better way to start my 1-26 run then!

I used to have a nice copy of #11, but I was forced to sell it years ago to pay college tuition. Ah well, I got an education, but the loss of that beautiful Flessel cover still hurts!
