mwotka
Nice set of books! Did you just get the MF 74? Wondering what you paid, as I just saw one sell in 4.0 blue for $2061 on eBay. Thinking I got mine for a real steal a few years back for a quarter of that. Still need to get my 75 though, has that seen a corresponding bump in price? mwotka
Look, I love Stan Lee as much as anyone. But if there is one thing that annoys the heck out of me, it is people getting rare golden age books, like in the below link, and having someone sign across the cover and think it is improving things. I wish people would stop this practice. I'm guessing I'm not the only one bothered by this... All Winners 5 CGC SS 3.
Robot Man
I'm with you. That is horrible. Bad book to be signed and sloppy placement. In my opinion, it is now devalued.

Robot Man
Subby, Bucky and Toro don't look too happy about it either. Plus if I were paying the guy $100. I would expect a clear sig from a sharpy not running out of ink. What a mess...
vaillant
In fact, I would pay Stan NOT to sign any of my comics on the cover. As much as I love him, he shouldn’t sign in marker as well…
Randall Ries
In fact, I would pay Stan NOT to sign any of my comics on the cover. As much as I love him, he shouldn’t sign in marker as well… I mentioned this in another thread as well. Golden Age books shouldn't be signed like that. They've been through enough. I love Sig Series books, but not Golden Age books. Stan Lee would probably sign his death sentence if it were thrust in front of him. Having anyone sign GA books is defacement.
