Shield
Gawd...that is one "Dy-No-Mite" cover!!!!... Let us know how the Dicky story is.... Those Zip Dicky stories are phenominal; albeit extremely racist. The artwork is quite crude, but the adventure side of the stories are so fun to read! Great stuff! PovertyRow
Try The Marketplace. Or if you have to, make a GA Marketplace (not sure how that would fly - Marketplace is designed for selling with a built-in expiration date.)
Bronty
Is that "Frisky Fables" Fago? Interesting to see what he did away from funny animals... nice work.
PovertyRow
That SA1 has a real pulp feel to it. I wonder if the expression "You're toast!" came from that?
panhandlefool
Just got this yesterday. If it weren't for the "ding" on the upper right corner and a few "pinholes" in the same area, it would've easily graded higher. Regardless, a great looking book with excellent eye appeal. All IMO, of course!!
panhandlefool
BTW, I just picked up a fairly decent scanner from Sam's Club yesterday, and I'm just getting around to playing with it. Seems to do pretty well. I picked this up from SNE a few months ago. Great WWII cover.
PovertyRow
That is a cool Daredevil. Love the "AT LAST" bit. Have you read the book before?
panhandlefool
No, but this is the third Daredevil Comics (all slabbed) I've picked up. Anyone know if there are reprints available in any format for the old Lev Gleason Daredevil books??

Shield
Well, I, for one, am glad to see my favorite genre of books (1930-1955) all in the same room. Love the Daredevil! Was that before or after the Superman cover with a similiar scene? Also, if you don't mind me asking, what does a Crowley Daredevil go for in those grades on average? PovertyRow
Well, I, for one, am glad to see my favorite genre of books (1930-1955) all in the same room. I confess to being here by concession. I really don't like segregating GA from the other genres for our prides and joys. More exposure to the now non-collector means more future collectors...err...in the future (pardon the Ed Woodism). So I have decided to post in both places. ::hmmmm....maybe this segrationism is a ploy to AVOID new collectors, thereby reducing demand and keeping prices lower. Hmmmmmmmm....
