A seemingly mild mannered businessman goes off into the wilds of VA and discovers the Worlds Finest holy grail. Well done, Indiana Ponseti!

Thanks Steve and Larry.

Larry, I thought of you as soon as the owner of the shop handed me the book. He had a #2 as well, but my wife was with me, so I had to keep a "budget minded" approach to my purchases

I like both but the interior Batman story makes issue 3 a favorite. I only have two copies of issue 3, with no covers. :frustrated:

That's a beauty Jeff. The #2 at the shop was quite nice as well. But, I didn't get it this time. Maybe next time.

Thanks guys. I picked up a couple of nice SA books as well.

Heck he even had a high grade Timely/Atlas SH book or two in the shop

Wow, sounds like a great store. Nowhere like that in Atlanta, sadly.

The Philly stores are nothing to write home about either.

Michael, these are all great, but I really love these Rockfords!

Bought those from the original offering - still have the Worlds Finest catalog somewhere I believe.

I bought a few from that catalog back in the day. Here's one:

Those are both beautiful copies. The colours are quite vivid on both.
