I have a couple other nifty things but the other side of the room is mostly my girlfriend’s collection of Looney Tunes items. davebo357
So I have a friend I've known since pre-school (1982?) who's going to be moving in with my wife and I next year. He's been keeping most of his comics in a guest bedroom where he currently lives that I haven't looked inside of for probably ten years. I assumed by this point his collection was huge and we'd be integrating it into my comic room when he moved here, but now that I see it I don't think it'll even fit. Figured I'd post some "before" photos and then see what this all looks like a year from now at my house. wormboy and STORMSHADOW_80

I thought that was the point of creating a comic book room or man cave-- making your own comic book store or in the case of the man cave-- your own bar. I would really hope your friend has the courtesy to have some kind of garage or moving sale to alleviate this load. How did your wife react to this?? F For Fake
Dave, you're a far better man than I. Were he my friend, I'd suggest he sell all of those comics and use the money to get an apartment (or a house, if there's some nice stuff in there.) I don't know if we should be making judgments (I personally don't have any insight into this guy) on his life choices at this point, but yes at some point you need to look in the mirror and draw a line in the sand. I can't remember where I posted it, but I made an anecdote lately of a move of a very large dealer where basically his life is consumed by boxes. 2000 or 4000 longs - can't remember which, check my posts and you'll find more of the backstory....it was simply ridiculous!
