kimik
Did you already post your 1st Conan (Dec 1932, I think) yet? I posted it last year but I'm happy to do it again. The first Conan story ever published appeared, as you noted, in the December 1932 issue. Thanks. Your pulp collection is amazing! BangZoom
These images are from the cover of what GA comic? Here's another image from the cover. This will probably be the last clue for the evening. I'll post more images tomorrow if no one guesses the comic tonight. That is Mystery Men 5 bb Oops. I didn't see your response. Congratulations, BB. I'll post more images tomorrow if no one guesses the comic tonight. That is Mystery Men 5 bb Oops. I didn't see your response. BZ, I was looking at some scans of Rex Dexter. I think he was particularly good in Mystery Men. Do you have an issue of Rex and was there another issue? I found a scan with a different cover. Perhaps they put out a little black and white copy (or maybe they didn't bother to use the correct cover for the ad). bb
BangZoom
I owned a copy of Rex Dexter many years ago but I sold it at some point. Here's an ad for Rex Dexter #1 from the back cover of Samson Comics. Note: The two ads publicize different release dates (July 1st and August 15th). BangZoom
The original art to this cover is in the Hendrix Experience Museum in Seattle - it is absolutely spectacular - anybody in that area should check it out! stunning condition Thanks, Rick. Note: The two ads publicize different release dates (July 1st and August 15th). And for some reason the ad doesn't match the cover. I find this peculiar. Fox usually printed the correct cover in their advertisements. I have a comic that advertises Mystery Men 5 which is why I recognized the cover. I know that Harvey printed a lot of advertisements for comics that never appeared like Flash Gordon, Boy Explorers, and Flying Fool. Strange and too bad since I think Briefer's work was pretty good. I would like to see more of his sci-fi and more Montana Superheroes. bb

BZ, Perhaps you do have a thing for Killer Frogs. I think the aquarium in Baltimore or some place that I visited had a lot of Killer Frogs. Beautiful in real life. Tiny but deadly. That is a great cover by the way. And I also liked the giant tiger cover. The sabre tooth tiger in 10,000BC reminded me of that cover. Pretty neat graphics and a plot too. I think I might have liked the movie a little more than the Iron Man movie which I think would have been ordinary without Robert Downey. bb

Busy with post-semester catch-up. (Sometimes it's hard to distinguish from pre-semester catch-up, mid-semester catch-up, and end-of-semester catch-up, but that's why we have years of training.) I didn't recognize any of the fragments and didn't have time for a random hunt. Jack
