PGM: Captain America #193 (Really need some help)

23 posts in this topic

I just purchased this book from an online dealer. I don't think it is anywhere near the grade that the dealer had it listed as (I won't tell you the grade, but you will probably be able to guess). What do you think the grade should be? Thanks for your input.

You gotta tell us who it is... this is unacceptable as a VF 8.0

YES! Please share the name, cause that is stupid...even a blind dealer could tell it was not an 8.0, for shame. Tell us the name so we can scan his feedback.

Or so we know what to expect should we become customers.

I wasn't going to post the name of the online dealer that I ordered this comic from if the situation was resolved to my satisfaction. However, the dealer chose to refund the cost of this comic (minus the shipping costs) instead of replacing it with a copy in the condition they advertised (VF). I would not have purchased the FF #143 (see post here ) comic by itself as the shipping for only one comic is cost prohibitive and made that one comic cost more than I was willing to give for it.

Needless to say, I will not be doing business with this dealer in the future.

The dealer is Lone Star Comics (www.mycomicshop.com).

I sent Lone Star Comics a link to this post, and it looks like I've been black balled. As luck would have it, I wasn't going to order from them again anyway.

Hello Paul,

Instead of a credit to your online account, we are issuing a refund of

$3.80 to your credit card today. Please give the refund 4 - 6 business

to post to your account, and you are welcome to still keep the book.

However, considering your attitude, we will not be able to do any

further business with you. Please do not place any further orders with

us.

Thanks for using mycomicshop.com,
