Do We Need Cheesecake Photos in Signatures?

I think he's playing the "I was naive in thinking that anyone around here would be polite enough to self censor their sigs in order to make the board more work and family safe" card.

 

But, like the guys that think porn should be integrated into comic book conventions, there are people here that will play the "I like cheesecake photos so I'm going to post them in my sig regardless of how it may make this forum look" card.

 

Maybe I'll post pictures of the wounded/dead from the shooting yesterday in my sig because I'm in favor of liberal gun laws. That makes just as much sense and has just as much place on this board as cheesecake photos. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

You know what? That picture in my sig is in bad taste. I like it, and enjoy seeing it, but it's not related to comics, and may be offensive to some. I think I'll remove it and save it for my profile on the "I'm a swine" chat board.

I like to hit the boards a few times a day to get away from the grind of the office for a few minutes. It's becoming increasingly difficult to scan these threads because of the prevalence of (large) barely contained boob and butt cheek photos spreading through signatures like wildfire. All I need is for a co-worker or my boss to enter my office and it looks like I'm surfing somewhere I am not supposed to be.

 

I'm not a prude, but is these photos really necessary?

 

Yes, I know I can turn off signatures, but I do like to read peoples' want lists, websites, etc.

now ive been forced to use a real raunchy one whith food all over the delicate bits!
