JLA #1 rescued from my LCS for my friend

My buddy is a huge JLA fan bought a nice Brave and Bold #28 for a reasonable price and got this JLA from my LCS on layaway.

 

What's the verdict?

 

Inside the book pages are off white, no tears, printer tears, very, very flat, nice color on the inside pages.

with the crease that goes across most of the top I would go F- or 5.5.

certainly a copy that I would be happy owning.

The spine looks pretty weak. The large scan may be exaggerating that, but I'd still say 4.5ish.

 

What's LCS, by the way?

Personally, I'd grade it somewhere between a 4.5 (based on the front cover) and 5.5 (depending on how the insides look.

 

How would I expect to see this sold as? Probably 6.0

so far the range 4+ to 6 is what I would go with. The inside of the book is awesome as i've mentioned.

 

The LCS is in Fairfield CT.

4.5 - 5.0, probably closer to a 5.0. I can't see this as a Fine 6.0. Too much wear and tear. But, it still presents very nice. Congratulations!
