Naw, not yet. Like I said, I'm waiting until I get the entire collection cataloged, graded, and priced before putting it up on to the threads. Because there are around 160+ books, I'll probably take some pictures of the lots, and do scans on an as needed basis.

I hope their is some Superboy issues. If so, I would surely like to see them.

Sorry, I'm kind of taking my time going over each issue, front cover to back. Probably spending more time on the lower grades, but there are two good reasons for it: 1. I want my mother-in-law to feel like I'm not rushing this as this was her childhood collection and 2. if I'm the one who's taking responsible for selling them, I want to do a reasonably good job of grading accurately.

 

I'm better than half-finished now, and will be finishing them up before they leave on vacation next week.

OK! The books are finished! We found more books, so the total collection was around 240 which is why it took a little longer--not a bad problem to have though Most were all DC with a handful of Archies, Dells, Harvey, IW, Classics Illustrated, & Gold Keys. The average grade was around a 3.0 - 3.5 though plenty of mid-grades as well as low-grades. Found titles such as Batman, Tec, Superman, World's Finest, Action Comics, Jimmy Olsen, Lois Lane, Superboy, Adventure Comics, Flash, JLA, and then all of the random titles from the other companies. I'm probably going to keep a handful myself just because they'd be nice to keep in the family. Great story behind them after all Don't worry though- I won't be cherry picking all of the good ones

 

Only problem is that my mother-in-law wanted to wait until they get back from vacation before I start selling them which won't be until a month from today (20 AUG). Sorry for the continued wait. When they do sell though, I'll probably letting them go in lots to help move larger chunks at a time. As always, I'll keep those of you who are interested up to date.
