I thought Rule #1 was: Dealers are NOT allowed to make money. tongue.gif

Amazing Spider-Man:

- Working on issues 1-100 (half way there); long-term goal is to have 1-328

- Just finished collecting all of McFarlane's work on ASM

- Filling in the gaps between all of the Bronze and Copper Age keys (acquired these first)

- Pretty much skipping all of the modern stuff

Uncanny X-Men:

- Any steal of a deal I can get on Silver Age stuff

- Planning to work on collecting issues 1-300 after ASM work is complete

Batman:

- Predominantly collecting key issues for Silver and Bronze

- Want to collect all of the Ra' Al Ghul Storylines from the BA

- Working on 400-500 since this is the run that I grew up reading (and it's a cheap run to fill; half-way there)

- Just finished the "Hush" story line (thanks HUSH!!!)

These are my big three titles that I'm pursuing. I've got a couple others going (such as Excalibur vol. 1, New Mutants vol. 1, etc). As you can see, I really don't pay much attention to DC and focus primarily on Marvel Comics. But yeah, this is what I'm collecting, and where my collection is going in the next couple years.

Head collecting used to be so much more fun when all you cared about was the heads, not the value or condition. frown.gif

Mostly Good Girl Art and Superhero Vehicle Lifting Covers.

I bet you'd empty your bank account for a "good girl lifting a vehicle" cover. poke2.gif

Add another scantily clad female chained to the hood of the car, and now we're really talking! cloud9.gif

Trying to finish my AF 15/ASM run ...

(AF15 —ASM 52 CGC graded set)

I have 21 issues left (most of them are the big guns - 1, 2, 3, 4, 14 and oh yeah AF 15).

The AF 15 and ASM 1 are hard as hell to find eventhough

I have the money!

Oh well maybe one of these days I'll get lucky...

In Silver Age, I've been very slowly piecing together an 80 Page Giant run(all 56 books), mostly raw, but a few slabbed. I'm not working too hard on this run, as the Golden Age stuff eats up most of my comic money.

Make that 89 books! thumbsup2.gif

Here's a shocker: High Grade Certified Bronze Age Horror which include primarily DC, Gold Key, Charlton (early bronze only), and Marvel. I've historically been a title completionist although I think my persistence with this strategy is being tested. I also dabble into DC bronze war, western and romance now and then. Basically I'm a non-hero type of guy.

In the future I will become more focussed on pre-code classic issues and artist specific works. It's possible I will also go for high grade ECs but that will be a while down the road.

SA X-Men

SA & BA Teen Titans

some Avengers

some World's Finest

HG Green Lantern. Now many of you know me and know that I have the CADD and float between titles and what I am collecting.

However, I have reached a point with GL where that is the title I want to collect at the expense of all other books.

Im so serious about this title that I am thinking about selling off most of my other slabbed books to support this new initiative.
