  1. Got the results of my 3 free coupon books! Amazing Spider-Man #49 9.0 W .... TRIMMED Superman #20 4.0 C/OW Amazing Spider-Man #45 9.6 OW/W That ASM#45 is almost too much comic for the likes of me!
  2. Any interest in some mid grade bronze Spideys? I need to offload some comics as the cupboard under the stairs (the only space I am permitted) is full to bursting! I have a shortbox full of bronze ASM in mid grade - varies from G/VG to VF - which I thought I might offer up in a thread here this weekend I'm too lazy to do ebay these days.
  3. Despite the applause, whatever you paid, I'm sure it wasn't too much! That's a beauty.
  4. Bah, one of my coupon books is now showing as TRIMMED Oh well, my first PLOD will at least be a novelty for me. Before you ask, it's an ASM #49, I thought about 8.5. I will have to start looking for signs of resto before I submit. Never been a concern of mine before, but if I pick up any more high(ish) grade SA then I guess I'll have to.
  5. I'll give you $1000 for it You submitted that yourself? How confident were you of a blue label? Great low grade grail there!
  6. 30 slabs to the UK: $67.25 Makes sense to do 30 at a time as that's the optimal amount for shipping cost per slab. EDIT: Oh, and just to confuse you I've changed my name since my last post you in Brighton, I used to live in Brighton.....bout three years ago. Great place, but very poor comic shops!
  7. There's a good reason. I will explain the name change in a post later this evenin
  8. I need one of those one day (one day far away!)
  9. Nice items mschmidt! I am of course particularly fond of the Death Platinum! I have one but I don't think it would make better than 9.4
  10. 30 slabs to the UK: $67.25 Makes sense to do 30 at a time as that's the optimal amount for shipping cost per slab. EDIT: Oh, and just to confuse you I've changed my name since my last post
  11. That was the shocker. I was expecting 9.4 on that one.

  13. Got any Hellblazer Fabry's? No "early" stuff Just THESE Mm, yes, looks a lot like my collection... I WISH! Lots of great stuff there! Fabry covers, Philips, lots of Dillon pages, and plenty more. Good job getting both covers for #145 and #146 - they go well together! Pages 21-23 of #65 there are particularly nice and atmospheric. They'd look superb framed alongside each other if you had a large enough space. I saw a lot of Fabry's first run of Hellblazer covers in person many years back. He lives in my town, Brighton. The local University held a small exhibition of comic art one time and he loaned them a half dozen or so. I went along expecting little and was utterly gobsmacked to find myself face to face with all my most revered Hellblazer covers I particularly remember staring at the painting for this one for ages: Also the 'Royal Blood' cover with the Union Jack. Just think, if they'd been up for sale back then I bet the price would've been an absolute steal by today's standards. Anyway, thanks for sharing
  14. This arrived in the post today! Not one for the permanent collection I'm afraid, as I'm not that rich, but it's fun to have around the house for now!
  15. Great pickup! I'm on the verge of getting some comics bound myself.
  16. Wow, that's pretty trippy!
  17. My first Dillon page arrived today. I can't afford the high end OA, but I'm slowly trying to gather at least one interesting Hellblazer page from each artist who's worked on the title. From #68 "Down All the Days" with John at his lowest ebb. I like this page mostly for the dialogue. That shopkeeper has a cruel sense of humour
  18. Big thank you to Joe M for responding to my request for a Conan #1 reader. Joe's VG is my VG+, and at a bargain price (thumbs u
  19. I really like some of those WW's I've seen around here, particularly that one! Here's what arrived for me today... Many thanks to Innocuous for this low grade beauty!
  20. I should point out, I didn't make it, I just found it and thought of this place
  21. Just struck a deal with AlexH for this. I figured it really ought to be mine Nice item Alex, cheers! (thumbs u
