  1. Interesting in that Christopher Reeve was only 25 when he first played Superman.
  2. Continues the high quality with episode 4. I call it the road trip episode. That cliffhanger makes me can`t wait until episode 5 this Friday. Also inside joke to people who watched episode 4. I want to eat this now. ha ha .
  3. I am liking this show. I have zombie fatigue like superhero fatigue so was going to pass, but had a few friends suggest this show for me as I did play the first video game back in the day. Got to admit the third episode was a tear jerker. I expect that episode will be nominated for a few awards. Can't wait until episode 4. Reminds me of Walking Dead first few seasons. High quality.
  4. This could be very good. All of a sudden I am more interested in the upcoming DC slate of films than Marvel`s.
  5. Here is a example of a upcoming trailer of why I am fatigued. Seems like the same thing over and over. Bad CGI, and earth gets attacked until heroes save it. Saw that scenario far too many times. I rather watch Yellowstone or Sopranos reruns. lol.
  6. They got to make Ben Grimm the star again. People say Jack Kirby patterned the Thing after his own personality.
  7. This show is binge worthy. Already renewed for season 2 on HBOMAX. Couldn't stop watching it. Last show that made me that interested was Game of Thrones. seasons 1-4. The NBA players are stars for sure, but it turns out the biggest star character was Doctor Jerry Buss the owner of the Lakers. He was Stan Lee on steroids as a showman.
  8. I had some free time off this holiday season and just watched this and absolutely loved it. My second favorite action hero movie this year after Top Gun : Maverick. This was better than any Marvel Phase 4 movie. James Bond still is relevant.
  9. @Prince Namor I am really enjoying this thread, I don't know how far you are taking this thread, but I hope if you get to the mid-1960`s we get some John Buscema, John Romita , and Gene Colan love. He had Kirby, and Ditko who I both love their work, but later he had Buscema, Romita and Colan. Stan Lee was a master at picking the right artists. I am sorry that those artists didn't get their rightful credit. Well, if you keep posting than I will keep reading. I am now looking at the Marvel Age different. Take care.
  10. I highly recommend it. It`s not even a hour. If you like those old Universal monsters movies with Karloff, Lugosi and Chaney Jr, than you probably like it. The best thing from Marvel this year. It won't bore you. Look forward to your review if you see it.
  11. Yes, Squadron Sinister first appearance is Avengers #69 with Hyperion, and Doctor Spectrum making their debuts, while Daredevil #62 it is Nighthawk's first full appearance. That parallel universe confusion might be the reason they are under hyped and underpriced.
  12. Good points.. I wonder also if issue 1 has the yellow costume and not the iconic costume we all know and love might be a factor?
  13. I kind of like the trailer because like Top Gun: Maverick it`s giving me a nostalgic 1980s vibe. Also it should be interesting to see what Indiana Jones 5 final box office numbers will be.
