  1. I collected and read all 35 issues of the Maxx and I don’t think I ever understood what was happening, then or now.
  2. To be fair, $2 could buy a lot of Tab and unfiltered cigarettes back in the 70s!
  3. I wonder who signed more in their life: Stan Lee or Pete Rose? Both would sign a plate of spaghetti for $35.
  4. He can line the walls of the dog house to keep it warm while he’s in there.
  5. My eBay says I’m a member since 2007, but I know I was registered in the late 90s mostly buying SNES games. the internet was very different then. eBay required you basically send the seller a check and then they sent you the product. Well I was young and lost an auction on a PlayStation 1 and someone messaged me saying they had one for the same price. I sent that 89$check and was ghosted of course. I probably had about $95 to my name because I would have been a poor college kid at that time. I’ll never forget the person’s name since it was so unique. Never been able to find them in any online searches though.
  6. What makes Dennis the Menace and the Bible Kids no. 10 in particular a desirable book? Printing scarcity?
  7. Looks like a lot of fun! How were prices overall? Any steals?
  8. It doesn’t fit with the Sith goal of eliminating all the Jedi either. They know Obi is still out there and they know easy ways to draw him out. It just makes no sense they’d let him off.
  9. I’m not much of an autograph guy, but given the choice between someone rambling for a few minutes or someone churning and burning those signatures without looking up, I’m taking the talker every time.
  10. Vader is not acting like himself, letting loose cannons run around with little to no punishment, and not immediately killing Kenobi. The plot armor is strong.
  11. I just want to enjoy Star Wars and the old characters I grew up loving, but Disney is making it so hard.
  12. On board with this being Thor’s first appearance.
  13. This is the same company that gave us Luke Skywalker: green milk drinking hobo.
  14. I was annoyed that he wouldn’t kill the big bad guy minutes after murdering all his henchmen without remorse.
  15. That’s fair. I’m not sure this needed to be 6 episodes since we got the split personality topic fleshed out quickly.
  16. I have generally enjoyed all the Disney Marvel shows, but none have blown me away. No different for Moon Knight. The Netflix shows were much better so maybe the problem is trying to squeeze too much into a small timeframe?
  17. Pretty sure it’s just rust. At least it’s what THEY want you to believe.
  18. Probably about 1985 with a He Man shirt. That slide was a a bunch of steel rollers that was probably way too dangerous for children in any era. I was very into He Man and MUSCLE at the time.
  19. First appearance of Conan is listed as Conan the Barbarian #1, though he debuted in Weird Tales, December 1932.
  20. The 84-85 sealed wax may surprise you in terms of it’s value, and the Mattingly rookies are still a big deal (especially if they are Donruss). Great find!
