I've stopped pre announcing my sales threads and have had the same amount of success with sales (sometimes almost 100% sell through) that I had before. This place has been fantastic to deal with people and I've been much more willing to cut deals than ever before. I receive PMs from people during the threads often with, do you have this book? or what else is coming, i'll buy it before you list it, and I am happy to sell it to people when they inquire. Pre sale sales are a reality of the comic book world it seems, and I will be honest, repeat customers and friends do get some preferential treatment in that regard.

Note that someone probably bought them from him -- not sure that Dave consigned himself... they are significantly marked up from his price list that he showed me. I was pretty certain of that based on what I saw at the show. You picked up some very pretty copies. (thumbs u Wish I had a chance to catch up with you -- didn't know you were at the show!

Actually, as I look at a number of those, they seem to have been purchased from kapelka. Glad whoever bought them left the Flash 123 for me... !

pretty sure that Supes 144 CGC 9.2 was Kapelka's. Either he consigned it, or someone bought it from him and put it on Josh's site. There's allegedly about three superman collectors fighting for these books... Kapelka's original sticker I believe was $900 on that book.

Now 3 out of 4. Nothing says you have to keep business disputes private. For shadroch: You don't always have to have a writing to have a contract. Make that 4 out of 5. Who's the holdout again? And you are 100% right on with the contract construction analysis. Chris You can make it 5 out of 6. Sometimes the best leverage is publicity. In this instance publication is the best move, though I will also agree with Shadroch that there are many instances where it's better to keep the dispute private. I just don't think this is one of them.

New pre code horror pick ups, one owner, bought from a dealer who got them from an estate sale. Just stunning books with rich gloss and colors. Beautiful stuff. Would have bought more, but I actually got to the point where I was almost tapped out (from what I can reasonably spend)

guess who the bidder was on the 7.0 I actually passed on the 7.5 because I thought the centering and eye appeal was better on the 7.0 than the 7.5. Both books were nice though.
