    I think someone has mentioned the sell price increase before. I don't know where they got all of the orange ink but it seems to work for glorious sunsets in the swamp. I didn't check the dates but these seem earlier than my Scrooge 15 cent issues.

    Buying all of the comics was probably a mistake. I sold some of the best issues to pay off the loan. The hot issues sell faster.

    The second Batman serial is one that I saw at the theater (the Majestic Theater where I used to work). I went each week to see the whole thing.

    Maneely could adapt to any style, super, western horror and wild. Even though it only lasted 5 issues the covers must have worried Mad.

    I found a copy at the flea market but turned it down because it wasn't discounted enough. After a short discussion I decided to buy the guys entire collection with the Suspense 3.

    Just finished watching the first Batman serial on TCM. The Second serial starts Saturday. Ron Haydock reviewed the first serial in Alter Ego 4. I have another book that features the second serial with stills and other stuff.

    Early Spider-mans are pricey but the later issues seem to be increasing in value too.

    I must have posted these before but I still have them. I purchased all of my early issues at the local drug store in Michigan.

    The radio shows were much better than the movies but Powell drew some great covers and ads for the comics.

    I still have my original copy purchased in 1964 and it is a little better condition than yours but more nicked than annuals 2 and 3.
