  1. I must have posted these before but I still have them. I purchased all of my early issues at the local drug store in Michigan.
  2. The radio shows were much better than the movies but Powell drew some great covers and ads for the comics.
  3. I still have my original copy purchased in 1964 and it is a little better condition than yours but more nicked than annuals 2 and 3.
  4. I prefer the Newsboy Legion stories but early Tomahawk by Ray is pretty good.
  5. I still have my original drug store copy
  6. Early Mystery in Space has a strange attraction for this old Scifi fan.
  7. Perhaps the BLB Green Serpent cover would have been a little better than FC 108 but I like both.
  8. All American was always an anthology but the dog was responsible for taking over Green Lantern.
  9. I am looking for covers for the Lone Ranger. If there are any scrapbooks available drop me a line
  10. I liked Arness as the monster from outer space, The Thing.
  11. I like the Two Gun Kid westerns because Maneely did the early covers and Kirby did the later ones. Ayers did some of the interior art on the silver age issues.
  12. I am very fond of those old radio shows and the early Lone Ranger comics.
  13. Strange Batman solo covers were also tried such as a puzzle that eliminated the villain.
  14. Batman edtors/artists tried some strange Robot covers, such as Invisible Robots. OK what good are the Robots if you can't see them on the cover.
  15. FF 3 and 6 were picked up at the flea market but additional covers are hiding the defects. FF 19 is probably the earliest issue that I have from my original collection.
  16. I have picked up a lot of bargains at the flea market but that FF 8 was a little high at the time. However, we did agree about the condition.
  17. I recently picked up a new cover for FF 13. I have 3 remainder copies in this group shot and two complete I picked up at the flea market. I think the last one was purchased off ebay.
  18. I pieced together another FF annual for my collection. I still have 4 or 5 of these from my original collection.
  19. I only have a coverless copy but the interior art by Cole was very dynamic.
  20. July 1942 Daredevil 1 was filled with crossovers...villains and heroes.
  21. I have found a lot of different types but would like to find more Peter Wheats.
