In the "good old days," circa 2015, as I'm certain many have posted and/or remember, I vaguely recall receiving my "slow track" Economy tier submissions in approximately four weeks. Alas, those days may be forever dead, dead, dead, dead, dead.

I also ordered from DCBS but, unfortunately, DCBS has a habit of saying to me "so sorry, not enough copies received and you lose." For the December order month I'm dramatically cutting back my purchases from DCBS, ordering more from other vendors that don't tell me "so sorry ...", and hopefully, sooner rather than later, stop ordering from DCBS. Of course, I should have done this at least 10 years ago except for being too loyal/dumb. I apologize for venting, but despite being a faithful DCBS customer for almost 20 years they "don't do me any favors." Granted, they don't have to but, at the least, stop telling me "too bad."

I'll have to check to learn if I own other CGC graded comic books with the "MJ"I.

Some (dare I write, I will, likely all) comic book collectors, including me, prefer comic books with white pages. Having said that, I will not pay much more for, to use your example, a CGC designated white-paged copy of ASM 135 9.8 than a copy identified as having off-white pages (or one reportedly having ow-w pages). How much more, $100 (because it reads "White Pages" on the slab which looks very nice). My reason for this is that CGC has, in my experience, never been consistent with this designation. For example, I have submitted comic books that CGC has identified as having ow-w pages when they have white pages. Conversely, comic books that have, in my view, ow-w pages have been identified as having white pages. It is, if you will, the luck of the draw. Further, over the years many posters have noted, for example, that a comic book initially identified as having ow-w pages was cracked out of the CGC case, perhaps pressed, resubmitted and received a designation of white pages. I likely provided more information than you care for and, of course, can only note my willingness to pay more for a 9.8 white- paged copy of ASM 135. Perhaps other collectors will pay much more than I for such a copy.

I hope like most that post here who are not, I believe, "fly by their pants" comic book collectors (investors), if and when I decide to sell my CGC graded comic books if they sell for less than I paid I can thankfully absorb the loss because I have ever only used "comic book money," as I term it, to purchase comic books. Comic book money is money I can lose (100% of it) and it will not impact my current or future financial standing. Granted, if I do sell and it adds to my "pot of money," wonderful.

To me they would be invaluable.

Yes, I understand why dealers, etc, ask above and beyond prices since, basically, we all want to pay low/sell high. As I wrote, I may just be cheap on purchasing comic books/don't need the comic book/can't afford the comic book/ etc.,/etc.

As has been mentioned in this thread, I also find it, I'll write, interesting the prices that some dealers (perhaps consigners) currently ask for many CGC graded Bronze and Copper ages comic books when I have seen some (leaning toward many) sell at auction for half or almost half of those asking prices. Granted, they are "asking prices" and, perhaps, the dealers (consigners) have sold/will sell them for less, possibly much less. Of course, I may just be cheap/don't need the comic book/can't afford the comic book/ etc.,/etc.
