  1. I plan to submit some magazines for grading via the modern tier in the next few months and may not see them again until perhaps sometime mid- to late-2024, if the current tat holds . However, if I come to my senses prior to submitting them I may wait until, let me write 2027, and perhaps the magazine modern tier tat will be under six months at that point .
  2. I prefer comic books with white pages, always have. However, I'll purchase even one with cream pages for 60% off of the asking price in whatever grade compared to the asking price for one with white pages . "Cream" with your coffee?
  3. I agree with this as to my knowledge (take that for what it is worth) and experience prior to CC most of the comic books that MC had for sale were owned by MC since I almost always (99.9% of the time) received a discount on the asking price.
  4. After reading your post I did not recall any of the raw comic books I purchased from MC having scans. To verify I checked an old flash drive on which I would have saved such scans and they did not. I may have (very likely did) requested scans but been informed, as I recall for other raw comic books I was interested in that MC had for sale, that they were not available perhaps since the comic books were priced at about $2,000 or significantly less and not worth MC's time to scan. Of course, as I note in my earlier post in this thread the last raw comic books I purchased from MC was many years ago and, if I recall correctly without checking my grade log, my grade is typically .5 lower than MC.
  5. The Commodores! Oh wait, ...
  6. I purchased a GA Batman 25 from MC perhaps 15 years ago and MC graded it 8.0 WP. Upon receiving and grading it, I assigned a grade of 7.5 WP. I submitted it to CGC in 2013 and CGC graded it 7.5 WP. The comic book was not pressed by me or, I was informed, MC. I am not complaining about the grade as a 7.5 for this issue is nice. Batman 25 0222273001 7.5 Other than that, MC has, unfortunately, been more hit than miss (correction) miss than hit as my grades are lower on, if I recall correctly, all the other raw comic books I have purchased from them. I have not graded any of these others but eventually may since almost all currently sell for substantial amounts in CGC slabs. I have not purchased raw comic books from MC in approximately 10 years.
  7. MCS sends me reminder emails of their auctions since, for example, I have bid on several comic books in their current auction. Based on the email segment pasted below, I only receive them because I have bid. As you note, it would be beneficial to MCS to send such emails regardless of whether one has placed a bid. Hi, This email is being sent to you because you have previously bid in the MyComicShop auctions. 8. I have never fed any of my dogs, past and present, Gravy Train. As concerns CVA and QES, I own perhaps 25 CGC graded comic books with one or the other sticker and based on that limited sample I don't recall that the ones that I own other CGC graded copies of look any better than those other copies. Of course, like others posting in this thread I did not pay or bid extra because of the stickers.
  9. Thank you. Yes, I recall learning that around 2018. However, I have not kept up with any, if any, developments concerning that.
  10. I agree as in my experience, and I have looked, I have seen very few in CGC graded 9.4 and higher in approximately 15 years. In fact, without looking at the census, I believe there are very few in the 9.8 grade.
  11. I could not access the board from around 6:30 a.m. to around 9:35 a.m. EST.
