  1. Hello! @Appleseed1967

We are showing your submission 3857768 is currently in the Quality Control department for review. This should be transferred to shipping in the next few days. Once shipped you will receive an email advising you. We appreciate your patience as we worked on your submissions. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

  2. We know that turnaround times are important to our customers and we are working hard to complete submissions as quickly as possible while still maintaining our high-quality standards. We do appreciate your patience and understanding.

  3. Hello!

There is no set amount of time for a submission to remain in one stage of the certification process. The time will vary depending on the number of books received before yours. We apologize for any delays. If you would like, our customer service may look into this further for you as well. You may contact them at service@cgccomics.com

  4. @Grimjack60 Thank you for reaching out.

    1) Will my comics be held at CCS until they receive my mailed in payment?

Your books will still go through CCS and the Grading Process. If they are held, it would be in the shipping stage of the submission.

    2) Since my original submission is over 8 months old; will I see any status listed on the CGC side of the house as they are graded?

Yes, you will see the books reappear once they have been through CCS and transferred to CGC for grading

    3) My submission is multi-tiered, 55 days vs 250 days, will my comics be shipped out as they are graded or is the entire order held until all books in the submission are finished?

Each tier of service will be shipped separately once the submission is completed.

  5. Hello!

There is no way to edit a submission form once it has been finalized; however, since no charges are made until the submission is received at our facility, you may cross off the book you are not sending from the packing slip itself. Once verified, the submission will be updated with the correct book count and the charges will be adjusted as needed.

  6. Hello!

Thank you for reaching out. We are showing that your books are moving forward according to the selected grading tier. For more information regarding your specific invoices, please contact customer service directly at service@cgccomics.com. For a full list of turnaround times, please see the following link and let us know if you have any additional questions. CGC Services & Fees | CGC (cgccomics.com)

  7. Hello!

Thank you for your feedback! We always appreciate our customer's opinions and input. We are currently looking into this issue and hope to have a resolution soon; however, at this time there is no timeframe when or if we will be able to make these changes. Please let us know if you have any questions.

  8. Hello!

You may always reach out to Customer Service for more information regarding your submission. They can be reached via email at service@cgccomics.com. We are showing your submission is currently in the queue for Pressing services. The estimated turnaround time for Pressing services is 250 business days. This would put your submission as being finalized late October of 2022; however, this is an estimate and may change. Thank you.

  9. Hello!

We are showing your submission was originally processed within the Express tier turnaround time and we cannot offer compensation at this time. However, since you paid for the customer label and did not receive it after the book was returned to you we can refund the label fees to your account or you may send the book back again for the correct label. Thank you.

  10. Hello!

The turnaround times are updated weekly on the website and do reflect the most current estimates for each grading tier. Please note since they are estimates they may change. Thank you.

  11. Hello!

We would be happy to assist. You can still locate a submission using the submission tracking search bar; however, you must use the invoice number for a submission (3972749). We are showing this is currently in the queue for Pressing services. The estimated turnaround time for Pressing services is 250 business days. This would put your submission at being done with Pressing around December of 2022. Please note that this is an estimate and may change.

  12. Hello!

The census information is generated when a book is finalized in our system. We would not be able to update the information unless the book itself was returned and updated. Please note that the information on a book is ultimately up to the Grader's discretion; however, multiple professionals do look at the collectible before the final designation/grades are given.

  13. Hello! We are showing your Signature Series book was received on 7/25/22 and is currently in the process for grading. Please allow 6-8 weeks for all signature series submissions and let us know if you have any additional questions.

  14. Hello! Thank you for reaching out. Our submission tracking feature is only set up to reflect the last 8 months' worth of activity and you will need to use the invoice number (3938932) in the search feature to find your books. We are showing these books are still in the queue for grading. The current estimated turnaround time for Economy submissions is 231 business days. This would put your submission at being finalized around late September. Please note this is an estimate and may change. Thank you!

  15. @waynemel we are looking into the possible server issue with our emails now and hope to have this resolved ASAP. In the meantime, you may contact customer service directly at 941-360-3990 and let them know that you had tried to email the request already.

  16. Hello!

Thank you for reaching out. If the labels are incorrect on your slabs there is no time limit for the Mechanical Error feature. We will gladly correct these for you!

FYI - The time frame to report/return damaged slabs received from a submission is around two weeks. Additionally, the submitting party must be the one to submit the Mechanical Error for damaged slabs; however, anyone can return a mislabeled slab for correction.

  17. Hello,

The larger slabs are used when a book is too big for the standard-sized slabs. This could mean the book was too large by as little as a millimeter to fit in our standard holder and we did not want to damage the book.

Grader Notes are made at the graders' discretion; they are not a guaranteed part of the service but are provided as a courtesy to members and dealers when available. Often, they may not be entirely comprehensive or give a 100% accurate description of the defects and the notes vary from grader to grader.

Multiple professionals examine every collectible to ensure accuracy and consistency.  I am sorry that no grader notes were taken on your item.  The grader notes are not required nor a guaranteed part of the grading service.  Since no notes were taken by the grading team, there is no further information I can provide to you regarding the grade of your item.  I apologize for any inconvenience.
