Hello! We are so sorry to hear that you received damaged slabs! We do offer a complimentary reholder service for cracked and damaged holders that are reported within two weeks of receiving them from CGC. You simply need to complete a new submission form and select the Mechanical Error option when prompted. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. 

We are still looking into resolving this issue; however, we are currently focusing on other issues at this time. We do appreciate you reaching out regarding this.

Hello! The submission form cannot be corrected once finalized; however, it is not a live form. This means that no payments have been made until the submission has been received at our facility. So, you may discard the old form and create a new one with the corrected information on it before sending it to our facility.

Hello! At this time CGC will not be attending the San Francisco Fan Expo in November; however, there may be a CGC Authorized Facilitator there that can assist you with witnessing signatures.

If the book is cracked out and Todd McFarlane does not sign the book, then you will be contacted directly by our Signature Series team with options on how to move forward. Most likely, you will be given the choice to have the book regraded with a blue label or sent back to you raw; however, the choices will be available in the email from Signature Series.

Hello! CGC does not authenticate signatures that were not witnessed by a CGC employee or facilitator at this time. Any book received with an unwitnessed signature would receive the Green Qualified label. 

Hello! We recommend looking at completed recent auctions for the books. Places like eBay and Heritage Auctions are all good places to look.

Simply select Mechanical Error as your service and follow the directions to retrieve your shipping label. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

Hello! We are so happy to hear that you are interested in submitting with us. At this time we do not accept COAs for signatures and we ask that they are not sent in with comics as they could get separated from the books and lost. COAs will not be encapsulated with the books as we do not slab any insert with the books themselves.

CGC does not authenticate signatures that were not witnessed by a staff member or facilitator of CGC. This means we will not be able to accept third-party COAs or authenticate signatures on your behalf. Any books received with an unverified signature will receive Green Qualified label and note that there is a name written on the front of book in marker or something close to this.

Thank you for reaching out to CGC Comics. We do take customer feedback very seriously and appreciate your posting this information. We know the turnaround times can be frustrating and we are working on hiring and training more staff to help reduce the time it takes to grade these types of collectibles. This being said the process does take time to ensure the personnel that is hired is appropriately trained to handle and grade your books at the standards you have come to know from CGC. 

As of right now, our system is only programmed to show the last 8 months' worth of activity on an account and this is most likely why you cannot find the books that you are referring to. You should still be able to locate the submissions by searching the invoice numbers in the submission tracking search bar. 

As for the slab with debris inside, we would be happy to reholder this for you free of charge. Please complete a new submission form online and select the Mechanical Holder option when prompted and let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.

Hello! The turnaround times are estimates and are flexible; however, they generally start once the packages are delivered to the warehouse. The time it takes to open a package can vary greatly depending on the number of submissions that are being received during that time period and whether or not it is an expedited package. This being said, it normally only takes a few days to a week for the package to be opened and entered into the system.

There was a time when the holos were placed on the outside of the slabs but I do not have the exact dates. It would be hard to verify without the certification number of the book in question.

The Todd McFarlane signing is a ticketed event through the NYCC website. All tickets must be purchased ahead of time through their website in order to participate in the signing event.
