  1. Hello @Smith Etc for the confusion. The turnaround time of two weeks was incorrect and we apologize for the misinformation. As of right now, there is no set time for Mechanical Error submissions. The time it takes greatly depends on what needs to be done to correct the errors and the number of submissions received before yours. Although I cannot give you an exact timeframe, I can assure you that these do take priority over regular submissions and we are working on these as quickly as possible.

The "scheduled for grading" is simply a placeholder status for all mechanical holder submissions. This status is used for all submissions no matter what needs to be done and it indicates that they are in the system waiting to be reviewed. We do appreciate your patience and understanding.

  2. Hello,

Thanks for reaching out. It looks like your submission is running behind and I have reached out to our verification team to see why. I am going to have our customer service start an email ticket for you to better assist you in following up as well. Thank you.

  3. Hello, this would qualify for the Mechanical Error submission as long as it is done within 14 days of being shipped out from our facility. I am not sure about the Mile High inclusion and this would take some more research. You may want to complete the form and then email customer service to find out more, that way you do not miss the chance to complete the form while we research the pedigree for you.

  4. Hello, We work closely with our manufacturer to ensure that we receive only the highest quality holders, and we take great care to protect these holders during our grading process. The significant size and extreme clarity of these holders, however, make it virtually impossible to prevent small scratches and scuffs that may occur during careful handling and in transit. As a result, minor scratches and scuffs that do not distract from the encapsulated book are considered to be acceptable.

This being said, I would say this would qualify for a complimentary reholder service if you are the original submitter and have reported the defect within 14 days of receiving the book. You will need to complete a Mechanical Error submission form online to qualify.

  5. Hello, not a dumb question at all! You may submit all of the books on one submission form by using the Add Another Service button in the REVIEW CART option or you may complete a separate form for each tier. You may send all the books in one box; however, the slower tiers may take a bit longer to be entered into the system than the higher-value tiers once received at our facility.

  6. Hello! I was able to pull this up in our system and found it had been verified by CGC and should now be showing in the system search and census as well. We apologize for the confusion! Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

  7. Hello, the shipping kit that you order will come with all the supplies that you need EXCEPT the shipping label and submission forms. You will need to fill out the submission form separately on the website and when completing the form it will give you the option to print out a pre-paid label to ship the cards to us with. The label can be printed on regular paper and taped or glued to the package. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

  8. Hello, we are so sorry that your submission has not been entered yet. Our intake process usually moves a bit quicker; however, it does depend on the volume of submissions that are being received on any given day. The turnaround times that are posted are estimates and we do try to update them weekly as best as possible. We appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we work to get your submission entered and completed for you.

  9. Hello! It looks like you have a nice collectible on your hands. At this time, it would be hard to tell from photos alone and we do ask that you send the book in for review for restoration. It would be decided on by a case-by-case basis. As for the grade, we can't speculate on that until the restoration has been completed.
