  1. The Certified Collectibles Group® (CCG®) is closing its Sarasota, Florida, headquarters on Tuesday, August 29, at 3:00 p.m. EDT, in advance of Hurricane Idalia. During this time, Customer Service phone lines will be closed, starting at 2:30 p.m. EDT on August 29, and email responses will be delayed. Currently, we expect to reopen at 8:00 a.m. EDT on Thursday, August 31. For further updates, please visit NGCcoin.com, PMGnotes.com, CGCcomics.com, CGCcards.com or any of the CCG company websites. All collectibles are secured. The CCG companies are headquartered in modern buildings that are built to withstand hurricanes. The offices are located about 9 miles inland from the Gulf of Mexico (east of Interstate 75) and are not in a flood zone. The buildings also have large, secure vaults to protect collectibles that are monitored 24/7. Visit cgccards.com for the latest updates and information.
  2. I have sent your certification numbers to our CGC Population Report team to look into. Our web team is aware of the issues with our new internal system and the pop report and is working to resolve them. I will share any updates as I get them from the web team. We appreciate your patience and apologize for the inconvenience.
  3. There is no longer an add-on fee for the thick holders. Thick holders will be used if needed, but there is no additional charge for them.
  4. Thank you for reaching out to us. Soon, CGCcards.com will have just one online submission form for all TCGs, sports cards and non-sports cards. 11. Submitters can now choose “National On-site Grading” when filling out the CGC Cards online submission forms. CGC Cards™ is thrilled to offer on-site grading at the 2023 National Sports Collectors Convention at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, happening July 26-30, 2023. This is the first on-site grading event for the new CGC Cards, the hobby’s second-largest grading services for sports cards, TCGs and non-sports cards. With on-site grading, submitters get their cards graded and back by the end of the show, saving time and shipping fees. Submitters are sure to be impressed by the affordable prices and fast turnaround times that CGC Cards is offering at The National. On-site grading, which includes ReHolder submissions, will be available Wednesday, July 26, through Saturday, July 29. WalkThrough submissions will still be accepted until Sunday, July 30, at 12:00 p.m. CDT. For more about what CGC Cards has planned for The National, go here. Click images to enlarge. On-site grading submissions are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. CGC Cards expects extremely high demand and space is limited, so submitters are encouraged to submit at the start of the show. If on-site grading submissions need to be cut off early, submissions will still be accepted for grading at CGC Cards headquarters at the regular fees and turnaround times. Meanwhile, the other divisions of Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®) — CGC Comics™, CGC Video Games™ and CGC Home Video™ — will also be accepting drop-offs of regular submissions to be graded at the company’s Florida headquarters. Show drop-offs save on shipping fees one-way to CGC’s facility. For more information about submitting comics, video games and home video, go here. 12. Thank you for reaching out to us. Unfortunately, we are unable to grade Sportscasters cards at this time as they are too big for our largest holder. Currently, CGC Cards accepts cards that are sized 2 5/8" x 3 3/4" (6.6cm x 9.5cm) or smaller and up to 7.25mm thick. We are working on holders to accommodate larger and thicker card sizes and we hope to share that information with the hobby community soon.
  13. There is not a definite date announced yet, but the combined online submission form will be ready before the $5 reholder special is over in September.
  14. CSG and CGC Trading Cards have merged to form CGC Cards. Here is the information: Let's Go! CGC Cards Now Accepting Submissions | CGC
  15. Right now, each would need to be 25 cards. Soon, we will have just one online submission form for all TCGs, sports cards and non-sports cards. When the form is merged in the coming months, you will be able to submit a mixed Bulk order that includes all cards graded by CGC Cards. Until then, there is still a submission form for TCGs/non-sports cards and a submission form for sports cards. For TCGs/non-sports cards, you can submit a mix of different types/games, with a 25-card minimum. For sports cards, you can submit a mix of different sports card types, with a 25-card minimum.
  16. With the official launch of CGC Cards, enjoy more affordable pricing and the option to submit without a paid membership (but paid members get even lower prices on grading!). It's go time! CGC Cards™ is now accepting submissions of virtually all TCGs, sports cards and non-sports cards, following the combination of CGC Trading Cards® and CSG®. Collectors will enjoy more affordable prices, the ability to submit without purchasing a membership, an industry-standard Gem Mint 10 grading scale and other great benefits. LEARN MORE ABOUT THE EXCITING NEW BENEFITS AND PRICING HERE
  17. The Bulk service and 25-card minimum would only apply to raw cards.
  18. I was told that you can submit the black/gold label CSG Gem Mint 10 cards for grade review under a regular grading tier. You would select the grading tier on the online submission form and submit those cards like a regular submission. Then you will need to include a note on the packing slip that you are requesting a grade review for the CSG Gem Mint 10 encapsulated cards for a possible cross as a CGC Cards Pristine 10 gold label. Also, affix a note to the CSG Gem Mint 10 encapsulated cards with a similar note requesting the grade review for a possible CGC Cards Pristine 10 grade. Putting a note on the packing slip as well as on the cards themselves, will ensure that the grade review is performed on those cards. The cards sent for grade review will be charged the applicable grading fees according to the grading tier you submitted them under.
  19. I appreciate your patience and apologize for the continued delay. As soon as I get a definitive answer, I will relay it to you.
  20. Sorry for the delay. I have reached out to our graders to get the exact protocol for submitting your Gem Mint 10 card to be reviewed for a possible bump to the CGC Cards Pristine 10 grade. Our offices have been closed yesterday and today for the Independence Day holiday, but I will follow up with them first thing tomorrow when our offices re-open to get the correct information for you as I want to make sure the process is as smooth as possible for you.
  21. Thank you for reaching out to us. To answer your questions: 1. With CGC Cards, you will be able to mix your Bulk submissions to include a combination of sports cards, non-sports cards and trading cards. 2. Any Mint 9 (green label or black label CSG) will be a Mint 9 if you send it in for reholder. If you would like to have the card reviewed for a possible grade bump, it would go through the regular submission process and be charged a regular grading fee.
  22. Your membership and all added benefits such as grading credits and grading discounts will still be applicable on all CGC Cards submissions during the term of your membership. While you will not need a paid membership to submit with CGC Cards only a free account, there will be exclusive benefits to having a paid membership with CGC Cards that will be announced soon.
  23. Yes, old green label Pristine 10s will cross to the new gold CGC Cards Pristine 10 label if sent in for reholder.
  24. A submitter can request that CSG print “Authentic” in the grade box instead of a numeric grade as long as the card is authentic and not altered. The Authentic designation will also be used if a card is below the minimum size requirements.
  25. Per our graders: As long as the card checks out as authentic, we would grade this.
