  1. For the venom one, 9.0 is the cap due to the right corner of the cover having a color breaking crease. For the Spider-Man #1, that book is right around a 9.4 due to that bottom left corner. I just received my graded copy of it and this is close but not too far off from it. Also, listen to grendelbo and please put 1 book per submission. Also get picks of the full front and back covers as well.
  2. 7.0. There is a corner bend on the bottom of the front cover that breaks color.
  3. Golden Age is so hard to grade but if I had to throw a dart at the board, I would say 7.5 because of the foxing. However, I think it could go higher.
  4. I think the purpose of the staples was to marry this book with another. Likely the married page is that first one that looks different than the others. If that is the case, green label 5.0 If not, then 5.0 blue label. CGC phased out making extra staples green label.
  5. I personally think this book would get an 8.5 with that back. Mine was only slightly better than this and it got a 9.0.
  6. Comparing it to mine, this one is around a 5.5-6.0 due to the creasing as well as color breaking ticks as is. However, if you press this thing then maybe 6.5 but likely 6.0.
  7. What were the graders notes? Curious about the back.
  8. I would go with 0.5. You might get a 1.0 but I would stay with 0.5. Still get this book graded! Not many out there.
  9. I think a 7.0 is possible if that press is perfect.
  10. It could possibly be production related but I doubt it. I don’t know of any type of manufacturing defects like this. Otherwise, this is honestly the best example I have ever seen of this book on the forums. For a square-bound book like this could easily fetch a 7.5 with a possible 8.5 as the ceiling.
  11. I’ll go with 5.5. Very nice comic given the age of it.
  12. 7.0 This is one of those books where CGC may or may not give some wiggle room due its age.
  13. From what I can see, this will not get a 5.0. More likely a 4.0-4.5. That top edge has a major crease along it (at least according to the camera) as well as severe staple stress.
  14. 5.0. I have one that came back 4.5 and this is slightly better than the one I got back.
  15. 9.2. The manufacturing defect shouldn’t affect the grade. However, that cover seems lighter* than normal. It could also just be the pictures.
