  1. It's not about liking TWD... It is all about investing in TWD!
  2. Before 200. TWD craze dies out. There is TWD backlash. Readership plummets to 15k. 15k is no longer worth Kirkman's time. TWD ends. Fans are scorned and prices plummet... Then the zombie outbreak hits.
  3. Those twin girls in the prison. That one just misses the cut on my list. The reasoning being, I had no emotional involvement in the girls and it was hard to figure exactly what happened. Issue 100 misses the cut too because the art just kind of took me out of the moment.
  4. Why is it when people get shot or bashed in the brain, they keep talking!!!! Just seems like it has been happening a lot lately.
  5. Only 4 violent acts really stand apart from the rest, IMO 1. Lori and Judith 2. Tyrese 3. Carl 4. The spoon
  6. Any info on Splash Page prices for issues 99 and 100? Is anyone going to be checking them out at SDCC?
  7. Just read it and was definitely let down. Honestly, it couldn't live up to the hype but I was expecting something more from a comic with 16 variants. I went to a little Walking Dead party an lcs threw around here from 10pm to midnight. That was fun, at least. I am Walking Deaded out. Time to take a break. It hasn't really been enjoyable to me for years. I had seen glimpses of its greatness but it just isn't doing it for me anymore.
  8. That being said, I still love those first 50 issues or so.
  9. If he breaks that promise, he also break with realism. Would it be shocking? Yes. Would it create discussion? Yes. Would it be some stupid plot twist that isn't based in TWD reality? Yes. TWD is already devolving. I think it was a series that should have been limited to 100 issues or so. It could have been a great limited series like Y, Preacher or Sandman but instead it is going to end up going on entirely too long and limping to the finish line.
  10. For any that think Lori is alive, here is Kirkman's answer from issue 50. If she lives, the series officially jumps the shark. it would just prove to me that Kirkman is being lazy and going for shock value rather than creating a quality story with strong characters.
  11. Spawn's exploded on the scene and fizzled out because the substance couldn't match the hype.. TWD started out small and grew because it was a quality book. It has staying power. Especially the first 48 or so issues. I don't collect much after those issues but that was a great 4 and a half years.
  12. Why does Glenn want to go to the Hilltop? Why would he think it was safer there when they were getting punked by that other crew? That made no sense to me. And yes, the art sucks. But until we stop buying, why would Kirkman listen? 300k orders for TWD 100. Why would he change anything???
  13. Yes, museum and preservation glass are the same. They both filter 99% of the UV rays.
  14. You need to put it under preservation glass or else light will cause it to fade. If you put it under preservation glass, you will be good for decades.
  15. I would have snatched it up but it is only 60% of the booty compared to a full sized 11x17
  16. Some of us do. Let's make a concerted effort! Together, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!!!!
  17. I tried to change the headline several years back to no avail...
  18. If she turns out to be alive, that would be the lamest thing ever. It would feel too gimmicky.
  19. There is a lot of good stuff you can get with that kinda scratch.
  20. In the letters of the last issue I believe it said something like WD will ship every 3 weeks upto 100 Now I am even more worried about the art!
