  1. I am glad it wasn't Carl pulling the trigger. I wouldn't have looked believable on tv. It is a lot easier to believe in when it happens in a comic. It is kinda like Andrea and Dale's relationship. I don't think they'd mix well in the tv series because it just looks so improbable. In a comic, it is easier to accept. I also liked the scene with Andrea and Glenn. She is my fav character in the book and I hope she becomes a great character in the series. As is, I can barely stand her. I am also not a big fan of Michonne and could care less if she shows up in the series. She's a comic book-ish character and they'd definitely have to tweek her for the show. I know she is a fan favorite (and an Adlard favorite) so she will make it into the show. I just hope she fits in nicely.
  2. Like comix4fun, I actually thought it was a fairly strong price for that art. I liked the page with Andrea and Tyrese playing basketball but I didn't want it since it is permanently attached to the other page (drawn on the same board). I also like the splash page but that one was attached to the other page as well. I just don't like they way they presented and I think that affected the price tremendously. If they could be sold separately, they would go for more money. However, they are stuck together and I think that is what ultimately hurt the price. If it was up to me, I would have rather had this one page than the other 4. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&hash=item4ab44466d1&item=320851961553&nma=true&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&rt=nc&si=f5mu8AUUHJHe90KGf%252B1Ys5Cwnb4%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc And the Dale piece was sold through Comiclink. A very strong price I thought especially since it changed hands a few times recently as well.
  3. Tyrese is still desirable! One of the most awesomest characters in TWD.
  4. Different actors. Plus, the well walker had no facial hair. To me, they don't really even look alike

  6. But you can get a full commission from Moore for much less than $1000. I doubt a sketch card would command that much. For those people trying to put together the most complete sets you would be amazed. The collectible & sports card market is a strange beast. Especially when the sets first come out. People are paying $500+ for the 1/18 Rick Grimes Wardrobe cards already. Neither of the badge redemptions have come across eBay yet those would go for $1000+ easily. I really don't think a Moore sketch card should go for that much but I know of one high end card collector who is snagging up a bunch of these sketch cards and I asked him what he would be willing to do for the above 3 sketches towards him trying to have the best set of these cards and the answer was scary. He said that he would push 4 figures on Moore, Rathburn and Adlard if they existed and each of them did only 1 sketch total. Now if they each did say 10 different ones then he wouldn't go that high. He said he is willing to go $1500 each on the two 1/1 badge redemption cards though, so if anyone opens one I can send you towards a lunatic. Don't know if anyone on these boards messes with Baseball cards and stuff like the Allen & Ginter sets but this guy is the type who tries to snag every single 1/1 card that comes across eBay when he decides to put together a set. Which is really dumb because once these newer sets start to cool off after a couple months on the market a lot of those cards drop drastically in what he could resell them for. There is a sucker born every minute, I guess. In an auction format, he may be lucky. I'd be shocked if there are any more people willing to pay that much.

  8. No way would I have an actor sign a #1 but that is just me.
  9. It took me a while to find this thread too but now it is on my "watch list"!
  10. Here is something you don't see every day. http://runforyourlives.com
  11. I don't need to see that many zombies running around. I just need a good story. I think it was good so far. Maybe a little slow but it was still an improvement over last season. I do remember a lot of zombies though. What about when Otis croaked? What about when Shane forced Andrea to learn to shoot at that community? What about in the barn? If you have zombies around each and every corner, they lose their shock effect.
  12. Is 55 the two for one shot? What is the two for one shot? This is what happened in 55
  13. They are all interchangeable (except for Carl, I'd argue) However, I think Abraham is more of a major character. He has been fleshed out more than Michonne and and he is more productive to the society than Michonne. He is the glue holding together the community and Rick's crew.
  14. You forgot Abraham No, I consider him a minor character in Rick's story. Like Sophia, who I also left off my list. How is Michonne more "major" than Abraham? You might think she is cooler than Abe but she definitely has a smaller role in the story.
