  1. Lot of data points here. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=9690927&fpart=25 It is difficult to estimate sometimes. Being off 3-400 dollars doesn't seem like much but that could be 25% variance. I like this one better and it went for 1400 http://www.comiclink.com/auctions/item.asp?back=%2FAuctions%2Fallsub%2Easp%3FFocused%3D1%26id%3D1398%26Artist%3DSTEVE%2520DILLON%23Item%5F1152162&id=1152162#detail I also like this one better and it went for 2400 https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/steve-dillon-preacher-29-page-14-original-art-dc-1997-/a/7124-93361.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515 I would guess 2k. HA seems to get pretty good prices for Preacher Not confident in that assessment though. However, I do not believe these would go for nearly as much on eBay as they did on HA. So , while I am saying 2k, I am also saying I am not sure it would get 2k in another venue. https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/steve-dillon-preacher-32-page-24-original-art-dc-vertigo-1997-/a/7137-93472.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515 https://comics.ha.com/itm/original-comic-art/steve-dillon-preacher-20-too-much-gun-page-15-original-art-dc-vertigo-1996-/a/121546-13042.s?ic4=GalleryView-Thumbnail-071515
  2. It was a good year for me. I was able to pick up some very cherished pieces. Here are my submissions... http://www.comicartfans.com/MyLowry.asp?GSub=1537
  3. Didn't you just submit one to the Lowry for contention? Late pickup? I thought I had my top 5 picked out, but I made an executive last minute decision to change it. Good choice!
  4. I need something other than a prelim too... Although I really like this one.
  5. Just uploaded this piece. From Kingdom Come. One of my favorite series ever http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=1364857&GSub=100631
  6. I do not remember seeing this many Preacher pages for sale and I have been collecting since 2007. Most of them are not "A" pages but some really nice ones have been made available. These are some of my favorites from the recent offerings. Hopefully, this trend continues and we see more pages up for sale. I always love seeing what comes next. http://www.ebay.com/itm/STEVE-DILLON-Preacher-19-p11-ORIGINAL-COMIC-ART-Saint-Of-Killers-page-amp-extras-/262694470050?hash=item3d29cf81a2%3Ag%3ADq0AAOSwal5YEsj8&nma=true&si=yR2%252BAesHNw5ViUzOH2IoDlQGjNs%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Steve-Dillon-Original-Art-Preacher-Issue-6-Page-5-Signed-Garth-Ennis-/162253240869?hash=item25c70bfa25:g:4LgAAOSwHsRYDpCn http://www.ebay.com/itm/STEVE-DILLON-Preacher-46-p17-ORIGINAL-COMIC-ART-Garth-Ennis-/401179223858?hash=item5d68252732%3Ag%3AqSIAAOSwi0RXxLr9&nma=true&si=yR2%252BAesHNw5ViUzOH2IoDlQGjNs%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 http://comiclink.com/Auctions/item.asp?back=%2FComicTrack%2FAuctions%2Fbids%2Easp&id=1152162
  7. I don't believe anyone here said Pedigree shilled. However, when you do business with the Donnelly's, people become skeptical. The fact that the Infinity Gauntlet piece was misrepresented, should raise some concerns for Pedigree.
  8. I wouldn't open the frame. The frames protect the art from dust and stuff. I don't know about scanning in a frame. That just seems like a difficult proposition.
  9. Not everyone scoffs and reviles. Tons of people think the same as the OP. They love their 90's era pages. That is my nostalgic sweet spot as well. And honestly, why sell if you don't have to? For example, I recently bought this page on a Heritage. I love it and I knew it was going to be something obtainable. It is from the Funeral For A Friend story line and I specifically remember this page from my first reading... Every time I look at it on CAF or in my portfolio, I smile. http://www.comicartfans.com/gallerypiece.asp?piece=1338137 Do you know what I would get for the same price from an earlier era? Maybe a Kirby Devil Dinosaur page? Maybe a word balloon from Byrne X-Men page? For the same money you either get a high quality modern piece you a mediocre silver age page.
  10. That's not Amp. I was flipping through the trade, realized it was Bonny and came back here to edit. Not even a little surprised that it was pointed out. Dammit...now I need an Ampersand page! You're welcome!
  11. A) Doing ok. Renewed for a 2nd season. I think showrunners might have been hoping for a bigger audience though. B) I am a fanboy. My expectations were super low. It has slightly exceeded those expectations. Not surprisingly, the best part of the show are the SOK scenes. They most closely resemble the comic C) One article I read said 1.65 million viewers in total. I doubt they are thrilled with the rating but probably find it worth continuing to see if it will catch on. If you are looking for 1k per page, I would think you should hold off and hope that the show picks up more steam. I haven't seen any sales that would justify those being 1k.

  13. It would add value. I think there are enough people who want a "word" page. For me, there are other more desirable qualities though.
  14. Still far from an A page... I wonder what it would take to get an A page now. I haven't seen one come up in a long time. When one finally reaches the auction block, it could be a bloodbath.
