  1. I have seen books graded as high as a 5.0 with the cover detached. I only spent a minute looking, and this 4.0 with tape doesn't look anywhere as nice as the single staple, 5.0 Action. I don't think that label is a quality control issue.
  2. I just made a few posts in a PM thread, and the posts showed up well above the other posts.
  3. Any one else having these issues? Please post your experiences with these problems in this thread.
  4. I will most likely start a sign up thread for the first contest next month.
  5. I thought I would post this here for those that don't venture into comics general. Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®) is excited to announce that as of December 16, 2021, all available Grader Notes for comics are provided for free to CGC Associate and higher members and Authorized Dealers. 6. That's good to know. Thanks go to @dena and @Matt G
  7. With only 1 for sale thread, I think people are a little shy to start a thread. I believe that will change in time.
  8. I'll ask again. @CGC Mike Why was it closed to begin with? Seems it is open now, I am not sure it matters why it was locked.
  9. Hello You asked this question 5 days ago in another Ask CGC thread. Here is a link. The post that answers this specific question is the last post in the thread. Thanks, Mike

  13. Hello To my knowledge, there is no minimum post count to add a gif for your avatar. I recommend reaching out to board members who have one and ask for instructions on how to do this. If you still are having problems, PM it to me and I will try. Yes, there is a list of titles that change as your post count rises. Here is the list I have. Although, I believe some of these are not accurate or no longer used. 14. Hello It's hard for me to give an exact answer. Especially with the label cropped. From the pictures, it appears that this book has suffered from Shaken Comic Syndrome. This happens when the book isn't secure in the holder, and is allowed to shift around and cause damage. This problem occurred mostly in the older style holders. Mike
  15. You have been sent an e-mail. Contact accounting to settle up on the balance, and your submission will be forwarded to shipping. I was told it takes about 5 days after the accounting issue is settled. Mike
  16. Can you send me a direct link to the wording that needs to be changed?
  17. I will contact customer service and have them contact you with an update on your submission. If you don't hear anything by this time tomorrow, let me know. Mike

  19. I am glad you enjoyed that. Now that I know which buttons does what, where would you like it to take you tomorrow?
  20. Yes, and error was made. I have notified someone to try and fix it.
  21. Could you either give scans or grades for each book? I can't see the whole book for any of these issues. Either a scan or an estimated grade must be listed with each book offered for sale.
