  1. I am uploading eBay auctions as I post, cut me some slack. (I just edited the post)
  2. All you have to say is: "Hello (insert his name) I will try to get your item out as a soon as I can, but within (3) business days is what I can guarantee because I have a day job so that is why I chose the shipping time of (3) Business days from the eBay allowed shipping time. Thank you so much for your business, cms1" If they have a problem with that come back and let me know. I find it fun sometimes to write back to these nutjobs!
  3. My latest batch was delivered today. So hoping uploaded to my account tomorrow (Unlimited Values etc)
  4. Yes I am still under that 45 number (barely though)! Honestly from all the years helping out at shows I still think the average 30-something has a great deal of income to buy a lot of big ticket books. Of course the older crowd does have more though I agree. I mainly stereotype the 20 somethings as still trying to gain the experience in life to make the big bucks to truly buy what they want.
  5. I am putting your picture up as one of the three Crypt keepers.
  6. My wife is already on board with copying this cover to use for our 2024 Christmas cards that get sent out to our family and friends!
  7. Billy its official, I am going to start hanging out in the GOLD sections more because Comics General, well is generally boring now haha
  8. Curious of what some of you would think about this one. I completely agree with Chris Gore. What say some of you?
  9. I haven't seen, and doubtful I ever will. My friend said that he went to go see it and walked out of the movie after 20 minutes
  10. I am just tired, I need to get back to other things. But I see what you are saying. However I still stand by what my overall points are. Nothing much more to say about it going forward.
  11. My conclusions are: (all have more of an impact than then these lawsuits) The Fed and the interest rates #1 reason Economy/inflation COVID is really over and the fly by nighters are gone and so its the FREE stimulus printed money People are broke, and lost a lot of money if they bought most CGC comics during the comic boom MCU sucks now (Kevin Fiege is a fraud and Bob Iger is a disgrace) Star Wars really sucks (Kathleen Kennedy is even more of a disgrace as per usual) DCEU is in a reboot and yet to be dtermined Local Comic Book stores are going out of business fast now (especially in socal in 2023) New Comic Book sales are at an all time low (Ultimate Spider-Man is good though), which leads to CGC bread and butter Modern submissions going way down. Honestly this may be the #1 reason for CGC. Only one MCU movie in 2024 with Deadpool 3 Spec driving up the books wont be coming back to maybe 2025 or post SDCC 2024 Now to be clear I am not dismissing these lawsuits as having no impact, but IMO everything above has had more of an impact since the comic boom ended though. Either way I am happy CGC is giving me a better deal on submitting. The hobby right now is again IMO in a great place for buying and selling. Prices seem pretty fair now to me.
  12. Submissions would be down with or without the court cases, you realize that right? They were down last year as well. I mean that is obviously not the main reason.
  13. You mean give credit to people like @comicwiz? I did that. If you would keep up with the thread you would have seen that Over time? It's been 2-3 months almost. What hit has this scam down to the market? Not seeing much. Oh last ASM #300 sold for $3500 same as 2023. All I have seen is disrespect the other way. You are like the umpire that only sees the 2nd player after they throw the red flag but forgets the 1st player threw the first punch .
  14. Your back handed insults aside. I understand what you are saying, but how is it unreasonable to take a stance on getting all the facts first, and asking more questions before assuming everything now is a scam or fraud. Your position! What power position is that? Well as long as you have made your important position known to me and the CGC boards we all can rest safety because the mighty "tool" known as sledgehammer is here to fight for justice in the hobby.
  15. Well we all can't be logged on here 24/7 some of us have Tamper FREE slabs to sell. You have the right to come to that conclusion, and I get if you talk to a stockbroker they will always tell you to buy and its a bull market somewhere. So yeah I get the easy right off that bat viewpoint is that I am biased because I am financially tied to CGC. You know what dude we all usually have something that we are financially tied to in life. I am sure what you do for a living you have your own biases for, but that also doesnt mean I am disqualified from stating an opinions and being pragmatic about whats going on. You and others seem to think this will be CGC's downfall I am telling you that's not going to happen even 1%. Just two weekends ago at the first major convention of the year at Megacon, CGC was packed all weekend long. What I heard is they took in a record amount of submissions. Not bad for so many collectors apparently saying they are "sitting on the sidelines." You know what I see? A lot of people full of . At least I am honest. CGC needs to get their house in order we can all agree on, I am just know they will still be around for the long haul.
  16. It doesn't, CGC would take back that Teen Titans #44 CGC 9.8 regardless of any year it was graded if the book was shown to them today in a tamper free holder which from the video is appeared to be showing. Speaking of you saying I skim pages I said that yesterday. The issue I have is no asked (didnt hear Bryce ask it either) the basic first question. Did the original owner of that book/invoice get the same books back? Was that Teen Titans #44 the same book? Yes or NO That is where this conversation should start. I literally provided you with a first hand example of my most recent mis-grade on a DD #181, you skimmed over that didnt you?
  17. I am again just going on what you said yesterday about what in 2024 carries more risk. So if a customer asks your opinion on whether to bid on: A. "Raw" Hulk #181 on eBay with zero rating with pictures showing the MVS B. CGC Graded blue label Hulk #181 CGC 9.4 You are telling your customer Option A right? Because you said buying CGC slabs in 2024 is more risky than buying Raw. I am again just going off what you said.
  18. I posted to you because I am challenging on your statement about what is more risky. You said buying CGC slabs in 2024 is more risky than buying Raw. In my opinion that is not true for average collector. There is minimal risk in me buying raw that's true, and prob for you because we are both seasoned vets. I am still not convinced for the average collector though.
  19. My friend you have done a great job, seriously you have helped the hobby a lot. I am not saying your work is invalid, and most of my posts are not even remotely directed at you. However, I am just saying I have no idea how many books were effected or the real scale of it. Many are posting with emotion and complete speculation, as more facts come out then of course I readjust how I view situation. Honestly I only come on here to see what you post, most of the posts now are just the angry mob that gets upset if anyone doesn't align with the group think.
  20. HUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH??????? Where did I say that? Of course CGC slabs were comprised. I just am not making up numbers out my arse. Still waiting on you to rebuttal me on my 100K example on the Hulk 181's.
  21. no Because you are making numbers up out of thin air. That's like me thinking every single CGC slab you currently own is now compromised. I have no proof, but I know it must be true.
