  1. I guess Craigslist isn't totally dead. Just picked up thus huge haul, 64 long boxes of comics. Lots of junk, nothing really old, but some good stuff too.

What I am curious about, there is a TON of small press publisher comics in this lot. Renegade, Kitchen Sink, PC, Eclipse, Comico, etc. I believe most it has no real value, but are there certain titles and or publishers I should be looking for as I organize?

What's the humidity like down there? Usually pretty high in basements in summer. Is that something you have checked and are concerned about?

Actually, I haven't. I've only been here about a year-and-a-half, but in the summer time I run the dehumidifier Non-Stop

Lol yeah you got to justify giving up alot of good to get something great. My top 5 is straight up crazy now...af15, xmen1, ff5, jim83, and hulk 181 and 3 out of the 5 were obtained with trades.

Absolutely! I had to sell and therefore rationalize a whole bunch of comics to get those!

Great space!  I can't wait until it's crammed with hundreds of longs, with comics splayed out all over the place like some of the guys here.

Thank you, but going the opposite direction; actually reducing the number of long boxes. Less comics, more high value books. Oh, and more posters too!

Man, these posters are fantastic!!  Where did you get them?

    AWESOME!

There's actually a story behind that. I went to a local comic shop that I haven't been to in quite some time, its run by the same owner since the late 70's. He had a beat up copy of this on his wall, all torn up and weathered. Me being a big Marvel poster guy and never having seen this, I offered to buy it from him. As expected he said no, so when I got home I immediately started my search. At the time there was only one offered on Ebay and they wanted $400...no way lol. So I picked mine up at Amazon, mint condition still in the original cellophane tube! Couldn't be happier with a $60 investment!

Wowza !!  That's a HUGE comic book room !!  :applause:

And the ironic part?  We move in to this new home as I make the decision to start reducing my collection, so I have no need of all that space lol.  However, as I'm reducing my comic book collection, I'm increasing my vintage Marvel poster collection, so wall space is the premium; I now have 18 pieces.

I almost hate to say it, cuz I'm sure you must instinctively know, but I'd hate myself if I didn't and something happened.

Basement.  Comic books.  Made of paper.  I hope you'll be keeping them up on shelves in case.....of flooding or water seepage God forbid !!

Absolutely, yes. We moved in here about a year-and-a-half ago, and at my old house the basement did Flood, 2 in of water. Luckily I had everything off the floor then, as I do now. Plus, I made it a point to get a couple tons of dirt and shored up the foundation on the outside. Knock on wood please, I should be good to go.

  9. Complete Batman Rebirth set written by Tom King. This set includes two different number 1's, issues 1-85, annuals 1-4, The Flash crossovers issues 21 and 22. And of course this includes issue 77, the death of Alfred. 92 books total, all bagged and boarded in NM condition.

$230, shipped in the continental US only.

First I'll take it wins. No returns, PayPal only please. Please no bad listers or probie. If you PM me my response time is normally very quick.

I do occasionally. I recently sold a #1 cgc 8.5. If you want first shot, you can go register on the website and use the want list feature. You will get an email as soon as one is added to the site.

Good idea, I will go do that now! Looking for a lower grade then 8.5...
