  1. So being the new guy. I figured I would finally give in and post the beginning of my collection for GA. My books are all pretty low-grade, but I love them ! Just some cool stuff to check out. Nothing HG though. A few more are on the way. I will post when I get them. Some are nicer, some arent. BUT ... Im having fun !
  2. Kudos to Fazybones on a nice Batman 227 . Great person to deal with !
  3. Huge Kudos to Ciorac. Some sweet All-Flash comics Great to deal with, best packing job I have ever received ! (thumbs u
  4. This thread makes me want alot of books I cant afford. Guess I have to try and raise the bar.
  5. You guys are such a bad influence.. I keep spending more and more on books
  6. Working on motivation for an all DC comics Silver Age and Bronze Age sale. All books are from my collection, mostly mid grades, a few HG and Low grade. I think there are 4 titles I pulled so far, all books will most likely be in lots. HG books will be at guide or 20% off. Others will be at 40-60% off guide.
  7. ...Just when I think I'm finally doing everything perfectly !..............THX.....BH Hey , do you know if I have to redo everything over ?/ Or is there a way to transfer it over ?/...........BH :roflmao:

  9. I was busting shadrochs chops for forgetting to make the $, instead he just typed 4. Believe me, I havent had $200.00 to spend on books for myself in about a year.
  10. I've had a couple of books downgraded by them when I've sent it in... They give you the option of getting the books back or you authorize the downgrade and the lower trade/price value. Their automated system and buying process is pretty nice actually... You're always able to view the status of your books and trade process electronically. Thanks, looks like I have a whole pile of cr@p I can send to them. Are you going to trade the pile of junk for one piece of junk ?
  11. 6) One hundred dollars is not a lot of money to ANYONE. The principal does matter, but if 100 is a big deal to you, then you need to quit buying comic books and save. I hereby resign from collecting comics. So that I can save my money from now on. When I can once again rely upon my goverment to not EFF up the economy so bad that people in my area can not afford to have contractors work at there house, therefore taking away my source of income. Only then may I consider buying another comic. What was I ever thinking anyways. I mean mess im unemployed with no eligibility for unemployment, and it is my own fault. I should have taken money and joined speculators in also destroying my countries economy. Oh and also thank G.W.Bush for NOT sending my Fiancee her Stimulus check because that $600.00 is 6 times as worthless, and would not have helped pay for our wedding. Thank you so much for the insight.
  12. Spoken like a true dealer. I wouldnt do that. Give the books or cash. Nobody likes being scammed.
  13. Some good points. I am part of the "I cant afford to lose $100.00 club" And Mikey, I hear what you are saying. But my thoughts on someone who is mad because there grading is off, shouldnt be in business. Jonjespar said it best already.
  14. The customer is always right hahahahaha next thing we will here some of us still hold doors open for women. In all seriousness you nailed it. And I can be added to the list of people who will NOT do business with these guys. I need to start a list, well the way this board works a blackberry haha. If you cant grade you shouldnt be doing this, and if people are letting it slide because of "good" prices they are wrong also. Can we start a forum Blackballed list ? Like the list in the FS forum ? That would be ALOT easier. Pat-
  15. The difference is, when I agreed to trade with them, I was offered $200 to spend in their store (so I could get $200 worth of stuff). Now they only want to give me $100 in cash, which means I can only get $100 worth of stuff elsewhere. I would never have traded them the books I did for $100. I felt like I was giving them away at $200. It isn't the contract we had. Lone Star was the one who decided they no longer wanted to do business, so why whould I be penalized another $100 because they decided to breach the contract. All my contracts state payment in dollar amounts to be issue 100% as store credit. Paying me half of the agreed upon amount in cash is not the contract I agreed to. I'm still not sure how you got your $200 credit. If you got your credit by returning books you purchased from Lone Star, you should be screaming your head off. If you got your credit by sending your books to Lone Star, i.e. selling books to Lone Star in return for store credit, $0.50 on the dollar sounds right to me. I would try solve this issue (given the second option is correct) by offering to use your store credit at the full $200 and agreeing ahead of time that you will not return anything. If you have the first situation just about anything would be on the table - that's fraud. What's stopping them from having people return all the books they want and when they need cash, ban them and take half their money. I sold Lone Star some comics books I owned. They issue me store credit for them, which is what we agreed to. I then bought some books from them, and returned a few, and they put the credit back on my account. But now they don't want to do further business, so they want to pay me $100 cash and delete the $200 credit from my account, and then close it. However, I would never have traded the same books for $100 cash. So my position is that I want my books back (which several have already sold), or I want the full amount of credit issued as cash, since they are the ones deciding to close my account or let me place further orders. Even with the second situation, I think it is fraud. What if you agree to trade them a ASM #1 for $5000 trade, knowing they had another book you would buy with the $5000. Then as soon as they received your item in the mail, sent you a check for $2500 and told you not to come back. Is that fair? I'd go with "let me make one last $200 order, no returns, and avoid all the other hassle.". Then if Buddy messes with you by filling your order for NM books with VGs, post them all here and put him through the ringer. I dont think I would even accept books from this dealer. Tell him $200.00 cash or the books.
  16. I would tell them flat out. Return ALL the books, OR honor the credit. They accepted a deal, and sold some of the merchandise. They are no longer in the right (or position) to change the circumstances. And the $100.00 is NOT fair. The deal was made on Lonestars behalf now they HAVE to honor it. Otherwise I believe this would be theft by deception ? He was told one thing would happen, when it no longer suited them. They changed the terms to better suit them. dealer !
  17. Hey at least I am packed well... Thanks for the pickup. Always GREAT doing business with you !
  18. That isnt so bad I guess. 9.6 and 9.4 can carry a heavy difference im guessing.
