You have got to be kidding me. I do not ever try to deter anyone from collecting. But you are failing to understand my point here. There is no EXPERT grader, unless he works for the company. You can guess just like the rest of us, but in the end its a -shoot. So you and the guy you bought the books from can guess all day long, but he nor I will ever be 100% correct. Seriouosly dont ever accuse me of carp like that again. You dont know me, and if you did the comment wouldnt have been made.

Your logic is flawed. My 9.0 pgx books I crack out come back 9.4's and 9.6's from CGC. Dont you dare accuse me of using logic.. How ya doin Timmay ? You coming up for Javits, or hitting Chicago ? And thats good you got bumps frm PGX to CGC, but the lack of resto check makes me avoid that company like the black plague.

To the original poster. I dont care who your expert grader is, everyone misses something sometimes. Do not ever buy book unless you KNOW how to grade, and have a ballpark of how CGC works. There is no 9.6+ that would be a 9.8, there is also no 9.6- that would be 9.4. I have never met anyone with a 100% accuracy rate for finding 9.8's (except I am 5 for 5 at the moment, but expect that to change.) so your un-named expert grader isnt flying here. My advice. Send your books to PGX get the high grades you oh so desire and sell them when you are bored for 25-60% of what cgc books would get. Dude.

Listed a bunch of ASM's if they do show some lfe I will add more. And I am open to offers on the Thors and Avengers I listed.

Shut up. JK If I were the buyer I would have completed the deal, and never dealt with the guy again. And anyone who deals with me knows I use revolving paypal addresses. So I dont think october was out of line. If the check wasnt cashed I would take his word for it. Void the old one, and make payment. At this point it doesnt matter if you think october was rude or is a jerk. Complete the deal and dont deal with him again.

It looks like my copy but with blunted corners. Unfortunately my copy has color loss in the price box in the corner.

This scanner is brand new !!!! (arghhh!)...those CGC containers just don't scan well.....I will have to stick to using the old digital camera on the CGC'd books! On my scanner I have to push the book all the way forward and press the slab above the scan button. This way does get 85% of the slab, maybe more. It takes practice is all.

I have the money for it, but not the heart. I guess I am just sick of it. I still really like buying books and reselling them, but truly collecting them has left me cold for awhile now. I guess I just look at this stuff and ask "why do I own this?". Most of the time I can't think of an answer. Because you like it ? Usually does it for me.
