    Yeah it’s one of those things where you have an attractive book and you’re looking through rose colored glasses (Sorry old phrase) didn’t want to face it you called him out on it ..prob why he got mad. Max out at 5.0

    So it’s just the one staple right in the middle …. 5.5 but I can see a 6.0 with a bump because of the age/rarity

    Guys take another look at this if you would .. I think I’m seeing a very light diagonal crease that does break color along the bottom 3rd of the book the line goes through hulks knuckle .. let me know if you can see this. He didn’t give us a close up of this

    I agree with the other posts .. the split and the tears are pretty rough .. I was trying to be not too harsh at 3.0 but I will revise to 2.5 .. I think 2.0 is too low considering the rest of the book is not bad

    I can’t really see what you’re referring to in the pictures. Looks like a 9 plus copy. If you can see something from different angle that’s a judgement you will have to make if you’re gonna send it in.

    I don’t really see anything except some corner issues. 8.5 I don’t see much dirt and it looks relatively flat.. spending money for C&P wouldn’t be much bang for the buck..

    5.5 closer to 6.0 could go either way

    That is a good amount of water damage .. it’s not just the cover or the back. The whole book is affected … I don’t believe it can even be a 4.0. I’m interested in some others thoughts on this matter

    8.0 to 8.5 I usually don’t see even light foxing on books of this of this era. Maybe I haven’t been paying attention

    6.0 I would say it’s a accumulation of very small defects on this one .. the moderate ( my opinion) foxing is just a small part. I think it’s a subjective element. Could go 6.5

    7.5 to 8.0 could go either way depends if the grader likes Alpha Flight or not.
