  1. Ok so .. to me this is a 3.0 or closer to a 3.5. However I just saw that DD #1 really worn tape all the way down the front cover. .. got a 3.0 This has a little bit of tape inside and it is clearly in better shape so I am gonna go 3.5 or clearly that was an anomaly
  2. Funny you mention that.. I recall getting an invisible ink marker and writing my name in all my books. I had another marker that revealed the name…. You forget where the name is so you cover the whole bottom area. I remember it really looked like sh*t
  3. Haha that’s ok I stamped my name on mine with an ink stamper
  4. I concur 2.0 maybe 2.5 since it’s still hanging… just waiting… for you to get the scotch tape out. That was a joke
  5. Unfortunate about the chip out that holds it back. But I’m gonna say 5.5 to 6.0 on an otherwise nice copy.. just an opinion here on a subjective flaw.. welcome to the circus..
  6. 6.5 at the lowest … as is .. I can see it getting 7.5 or better with a proper C&P
  7. Just happen to look at this again to go over what I originally said. It has a few spine stress lines and that is about it. It’s square, flat and white .. the fold and waviness on the back cover ( which is very solid) can be smoothed out if you are so inclined, if not I still don’t think that’s a big hit
  8. I’m at 2.0 as well … nasty stain but it’s all there … no pieces missing and that makes a big difference on lower grades
  9. Looks really good 9.2 or better … be advised they will nit pick this for any little thing.. just my opinion … they’re not gonna hand you a 9.8 gonna have to earn it.
  10. The corner missing is the main problem here. I am gonna say 5.0 not real confident on this tho
  11. 3.5 probably amazing condition considering the typical reader of an Underdog had little to any concern for long term preservation
  12. Seems like it’s always been a tough book to acquire unless you’re willing to shell out some money .. I’m at 3.5 but has a chance at 4.0
  13. Well said .. in a nut shell there is an unspoken “expectation” for some of these mass produced modern era keys.. I don’t know if it’s fair but we have to navigate the course.
  14. Haha thanks for that but I totally blew it on at least 2. I think you were a little more accurate than I was..
  15. I’m gonna say 7.0 to 7.5. I tend to think they are harder on this type of book. There are so many copies out there many unread very high grade that they see all the time. Trying to get a 9.6 or 9.8. I just don’t think they cut it any slack like they would an older silver age book. Interested on your thoughts on this.
