It’s not a horrible copy by any means … but comic demand condition (I just coined that) is relative to the issue and that is one of the many things we have figure out if we’re gonna pour more hard earned dollars into a book.

Well I guess a lot of people want this in a 9.0 or better. What do you think the market for this book would be if it came back 7.0? How high would it have to be for you to be satisfied with your initial investment.. having it in your collection or selling it.

First impression was 4.0 but the bottom right corner is gonna drop it to 3.5 imho .. don’t feel bad it’s better than the one I have.

The back does look good really helps . The purple cover gives everything up.. I’m at 5.5

Just for clarification is that another set of staples someone added?

Really nice copy 9.0 or better .. hope the LCS didn’t gouge you for it.

I will say 5.0 because of the loose staple ….

I’ve always liked those Bronze Age Daredevil covers .. 5.0 to 5.5 as is

3.0 as long as everything is firmly attached inside and no big tears - edited after the fact. That is obvious color touch.. don’t know how I didn’t even notice it

I’m gonna say 9.0. There is a spot in the middle pic. Got some color loss. If it’s more than just a printing issue.. like a tape pull or a scrape.. then lower

With a stain like that. I think how much of the interior pages that are affected comes in to the determination.. if it’s just outside on the back cover. If that’s the case .. Just an opinion: I would think I could get a 6.0

I’m at 5.0 you will get a bump no doubt. Watch that spine split don’t let it get worse.

I think it could be a 6.0 .. issues are just the edge wear, corners, small abrasions on the cover, looks flat. Not seeing how a press can help much in this instance.

I’m gonna be conservative 6.0 no surprise if higher

4.5 overall this is a very attractive copy .. compared to what you usually see for sale.. it’s a tough call.. they may be able to straighten it out a bit and get it a little higher.. I know what you are saying tho. In order to do that means manipulating that spine a great deal. If a staple pops or the cover gets detached they are not gonna be responsible. If I was gonna have it in my collection ( which I wish it was) I wouldn’t mess with it
