Great score on the Winnie #1. That book has incredible potential. I think it might reach Scooby Doo status at one point given the longevity of the character.

The books I need are mostly random titles. I can get virtually all of them on ebay but some of the prices are too high for me. As for the others, I think there are some that simply don't exist, period. For example, Angel Love #1-8, Zatanna Special 1 (this one is tricky because the regular newsstand has a $2 cover price), Fraggle Rock 8, Hawkman 16 and 17, and Blue Beetle 22 and 23...

Given the price box on the newsstand edition of Fraggle Rock 8, I don’t think it exists.

Nice finds! Are the World's Finest comic pack reprints? They're missing the Month dates
Walgreens prepack issues. (aka 2nd prints)

Any possible chance we could maybe do $80 with shipping included ?
I’m afraid not. We’re already dealing in CAD and I’m priced whatever is available at the moment right now. I don’t skimp out on shipping as I want to make sure the books get to you in the same condition I send them. If you want to wait, it’s ok. I’m in no rush to sell them.

@bellrules Do you just collect a ton of copies of the same rare Whitmans that you already have pristine bagged copies of?
On a side note, if you could offer me a good deal for both T&J #331 and #332 together, I am willing to take them. Can be low grade copies, since I need to save some money. Was scolded by my wife a short while ago about burning too much money on collecting T&J...
Or, if anyone else has those two particular issues available for sale, let me know!
I have a lower grade 331, but the 332 is fairly high grade. I would do 80.00 for the pair plus shipping.

This would be more impressive if @bellrules hadn't just gone "look what I found" three days ago. Very happy to have this one, it may not be the rarest Whitman but I'm pretty sure it's in the top 10.
Awesome find. Definitely one of the more desired books out there and one of the rarer ones. And your copy is higher grade than most I’ve seen

Big cities are good, too… I travel pretty much all the time for my work, and pretty much everywhere. In most places, big or small, there’s usually a couple of honey holes. You just have to find them, and keep going back. Used bookstores, junk shops, larger LCSes in big towns or forgotten LCSes in smaller towns, antique shops, etc. are all good. A lot of places will have a section for “kid’s comics”, which are typically overlooked by most comic hunters. Dealers who know their superheroes but nothing else are great.
i don’t have near as much luck as @bellrules but I do pretty well…
Most of my finds have been in bigger cities. Small towns don’t yield the same type of results. Found a Scrooge 179 at Calgary Expo for 1.00. Books are out there, you just have to look.
