Ingels is my favorite* as well, but I don't own a single Ingels cover. Maybe I need to rectify that. *clear favorite if we're talking horror; if we're talking sci-fi, too, it gets tougher; Wally Wood would be right up there. This book is as close to perfect as a horror comic cover can be. Beautiful copy Richard!

Yes!Yes! Mine too. Reprint of this available in the the book Four Color Fear. Also used as the cover image first printing. Great art and expression in this one. So many great artists to celebrate. Nice thread.

I rate the insides stories of this issue as great as any precode horror book there is. Ace is a super underrated publisher. Certain issues like this one are true gems IMO.

Thanks so much for chipping in opinions. I probably will read on past 64. So far, this is one of the best comics (and weirdest) I've ever read. They go in the permanent collection.

I am finally reading my way through this series. I'm on issue 58 at the moment, So awesome. Without a doubt one of the best comic series I've ever read. My original plan was to stop at 64, but I am considering continuing. When I bought the lot of these, I got up to issue 100..... Is it worth reading past issue 64? I'd love to get some opinions on the books quality post Moore. Thanks, Christian

Love that #1 Jayman! My other Precodes miss it. They can cry their eyes out on my other two copies I have...still one of my top favorites. Nice Horrifics everyone! It's a great title. Love this cover but it makes me wonder if the artist ever saw an ant before! I hear you Jayman! But this is an improvement... Did you see how Mr. Bailey drew the ant on the cover of Weird Mysteries 4? Whew! Thing looked kinda human, Dannyboy! Great to see you still posting. I still have some of your dads Precodes I picked up from you many years ago. Did you get the collecting bug too? Nice Mister Mystery! Robot Woman in there I believe?

You guys are going to get a huge pile of snow. Here's a tip: if you cover your body with precode horror, you end up nice and warm and smelling like old newsprint. Just don't use the Precodes to get the fire going in the fireplace. Seriously though buddy, stay safe up there!

Whats going on in here........ A Precode party!? Im crashing it! Ohhhh. Appitizers are served! I will try the extra crispy ones. Party favors. I am so glad there is live music. OOOps! That was not food was it? Uh-oh. Who invited this lot?...I dont like the looks of these guys.... I knew it! They shot me in the head with a pistol. Not cool. Then they bury me out back with the ants..... That is ok. I will just take a little nap, have a quick dream, and then dig myself out.... And I am awake again. Looks like this party is still going...I am heading back up to the house. Wait til they see my new look! Just in time! Looks they they are about to serve the main course.
