  1. That makes sense, I guess you could go either way across a pond.
  2. Nice books. Where from "across the pond" did you find those?
  3. It did win for best presented. Thanks for the nice words. I am very excited about that honor. The registry is a fun way to show your collection, talk about each issue, and share stories about the people you meet while obtaining your books. It's a bonus to win a prize/award for something you love doing. (thumbs u
  4. Another Planet off the list. I don't know about what other Planet collectors think, but I think that 12-20 are all tough to find with an extra level of "tough" to 13,14,15, and 17. Ultimately 15 is the toughest of all. Anyway, I digress to this Planet #17. I was super excited to not only find a #17, but it is in great condition with only two graded higher ( a 9.4 I will never ever see and an 8.0). This one is no where near as red as Parkers copy, but I will definitely cherish my copy. Also on a seperate note.......man I love Zolnerowich covers!!
  5. Wow, that is really cool. Thanks for sharing. (thumbs u
  6. Planet Comics #15 is very tough, Nice book!!
  7. Beautiful book. It looks even better in person (thumbs u
  8. i like it. i like it alot. I like it alot too. Yes, it is difficult to find. Check out my signature line to see what I am looking for There are several others on the board looking for it too. Kelly
  9. That is one Beautiful Pic. You going for all the rivets or just 1-10?
  10. Just received this one in the mail from the last Heritage auction. I put the picture in the duck thread, but thought it would go nicely here too. I think the "Long billed" Donald is super cool.
  11. I hope this "counts" for all you duck fans. I just received this one in the mail today, was purchased from the last Heritage auction. I have been looking for this particular issue for a couple years now since I spotted one for sale on Metropolis webasite. I paid alot less for this one than what Metropolis is asking and in my opinion, this one is just as nice. Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention that I like the "long billed" donald. Any other "long billed" Donald fans?
  12. Would have liked to have been a fly on the wall when Steve was looking at them. not me, I hear the Dr carries a big rolled up newspaper with him It's actually his undercopy of Action #1. He keeps it rolled up in his back pocket.
  13. Nice books. I've said this before and I'll say it again......... Zolnerowich
  14. Great group of books. I see several of my favorite WDCS covers in there. #26 is my all time favorite I also have to say I love the deep red color on the Jack in the box cover/issue.
  15. I couldn't bid on any particular book in the latest Comiclink auction. I was too busy working a deal for this book. I am very happy with the outcome of my reasoning to focus on this rather than the auction. Sharp, Beautiful copy.
  16. I crossed my eyes and squinted, and this is what I saw:
  17. The first year and last couple years of FH have nice colors. Everything published in between was printed as cheaply as possible and it's real crapshoot as to whether there was enough pigment in the ink. Your comment is spot on.
  18. I love the coloring on this one. I like to see true orange on FH books and not FH orange( super light faded orange). Yours look true orange for sure. Like all your posts, keep 'em coming!
  19. My vote (like it matters) would be for more shelves!! It is always cool to see a large group of books displayed.
  20. That Hedy 29 is awesome. I never see it for sale.
  21. Beautiful books (thumbs u But don't you get scared just setting them up on the couch like that? af15kid could be posting any minute Love the Fight! Too bad those nice books have to live at a Bank, but I understand why.
  22. I watched that one, I just didn't pull the trigger. Glad you won it. It does look to have GREAT colors.
  23. Super looking Jungle. I love early Jungles. Zolnerowich (thumbs u
