  1. Love those Rangers. Both of those are not easy to find. Good job by you locating these two Gems.
  2. Beautiful book. Great to see a long time comic pal coming thru for you with such a nice book.
  3. Very cool! Like it. (thumbs u Defintely something you don't see everyday.
  4. Wow, I can't find anything close to that at my LCS. Great looking book.
  5. Is that the copy just sold on Heritage that I forgot to bid on? I can't confirm or deny that the book is from the last Heritage, Alanna will have to answer that. Below IS a Planet from the last Heritage that I forgot to bid on It has the BEST coloring I have ever seen on a #53.
  6. I've noticed that too that some of the best colors are on vg-f Fiction House books. It is really a gem when you find high grade and bold colors.
  7. You say you " have a problem". I don't see a problem, what I do see is an eye for cool books. Keep up the good work!! Welcome to the FH club, I think your gonna like it here.
  8. (thumbs u Great splash page of mars. I like the Mars god of war stories. What issue is this from?
  9. Got this back on Saturday. Believe it or not this the highest graded. #2 is pretty tough. Nice White Pages. Back is a Cool Bonus.....
  10. Dave is great guy to deal with. I put a post in the wanted to buy section for a book and he responded. He gave me a very fair price on the book I was looking for. I would buy from again without hessitation. Top Notch person! Kelly
  11. Here is the back. I like how it shows the other current FH title covers. As a big bonus to me, it shows the cover to Planet Comics 15. This is probably as close as I may ever get to owning a Planet 15. I'll keep looking for one, you never know when one may turn up.
  12. I got this one back from CGC today. A BIG thank you to Dave (thehumantorch) for offering to sell me his copy after I posted a wanted post in the want to buy threads on the boards. Book went to joeypost and then straight to CGC and Joe did a fantastic job. Rangers Comics #2 CGC 6.0 WHITE Pages. Highest graded. It has a cool back, which I will post later.
  13. Post away..... Ps.I wouldn't call those Planets ragged.
  14. Good bulletpoint, sacentaur. (thumbs u After four pages of Fawcett installations, maybe a change of pace would be an acceptable diversion (rumor has it that this book has been banned in Wisconsin). That is a very pretty book.
  15. a beaut! Great book. Two Torch's posted here in one day. Keep 'em coming. Anyone have a 32 to post?
  16. Very nice Torch. Looks a bit nicer than 7.5. Glad they made it back home safe. (thumbs u
  17. Colors look great. I've always liked this cover.
  18. Thanks for the kind words guys, it's fun to share new books on the boards.
  19. I posted this in the GA section, but thought I might show it here too. Received this book from CGC on Friday:
  20. OFFICIAL DISCLAIMER: For this post, I might ramble on about this book a bit, so for those who just want to see the book, please scroll down to the bottom for pictures and a small summary of my rambling. I have been pursuing Planet Comics for several years now. When I first started collecting them, there were about 5 of the 73 issues that I put on my short list of "must haves". One was #13. There is something about the color scheme, a blue alien, the classic overall scene on the cover, well drawn by Zolnerowich , etc. that made it rise near the top of my Planet wantlist. I have only ever seen 1 other #13 for sale in any condition. It was a 5.0 raw that Billy P. purchased from Metro several years back. In my opinion, the hardest planets to find are 13, 14, 15, 17-20. Most think that 15 is the most difficult of this group, but in my experience I have found 15 to be tough although I have seen 3 for sale (never owned by me, but that is another story on how I missed out on those) compared to only 1 # of issue 13. I looked for a 13 with every auction house, dealer, the boards, websites, etc. for years and years with not even a sniff of a 13. I would almost always ask a new dealer (etc.) if they had one. I tell you all of this to tell my small story. A couple months back, I was talking to a person selling some books. I had made an offer on a couple and was getting ready to complete the sale on the phone. I asked if he had a couple key books that seemed to relate to the ones already being purchsed and he didn't have any additional books. Almost like a reflex, I made the statement that I had uttered for years to others, " You wouldn't happen to have a Planet 13 laying around would you?" I about fell over when he said, "Well, actually I do." It was a raw 8.5 with bright coloring. To speed up the story, I had a scan within minutes (looked like a 8.0- to me) and book was purchased and on its way to me before sundown. Book was sent to Joeypost and then onto CGC. I received it in the mail today and I am so excited it caused me to stare it for long periods of time today, show my kids (they really liked it too) , tell my wife the whole story (she graciously listed well), and ramble on in paragraph form here in the boards. I am very excited about this find. It is the second highest graded only eclipsed by the Mile High copy which may never again see the light of day. ****SUMMARY for those who skipped my ramble: 1. I found and purchased a book I had been looking for for years and years. 2. It is in awesome condition. The cover colors are very strong and bright. 3. I am very excited about this book. Here is the book........ Here is the back, which is a really cool bonus.
  21. (thumbs u I like it!! Great colors. I find myself liking more and more Rangers books. How are the stories in this one?
  22. Very nice! Thank you. (thumbs u Thanks for sharing the stories. The knife in the neck panel makes me feel like I was reading a ficton house book and a little...
  23. Very nice choice Gga is the wave of the future That is one beautiful book, must've missed that one in the Pedigree auction. The coloring of the cover is superb. P.S. To some, GGA is the wave of NOW.
