  2. Keep the prizes coming so I can like more posts
  3. I'm half way through working out a modern submission I got sidetracked on some other things. The above books have been graded and are just awaiting to finish up the process hopefully they will be back in a couple of weeks. Oh and all my graded books that I own have been entered into my registry. I think I'm on page nine
  4. So it looks like the ultimatum was lifted somewhat. When people go in full blown buying frenzies it kind of reminds me of the bull story. I try to pace myself like an old bull in the comic pasture and get as much as possible. Slow and steady. There are two bulls standing on a hill overlooking a pasture full of cows. The younger bull, eager, but lacking experience, says to the old bull “Hey, let’s run down there and !@#+ ourselves a cow.” The old bull, who has spent season after season in this pasture, turns to the younger bull, chuckles, and replies “Nah, how about we walk down there, and !@#+ them all.”
  5. Oh man Blowie posted we have a new low not to long after I submitted my grades
  6. Bye and a Three way. This is was the Red Shoe Dairies round for me
  7. I just got my grade in from the other graders. It's an 8.0 and in transit now. I'll post it up across the street when it comes in so you guys can see how they label it.
  8. Maybe it's a good idea NOT to come on a open forum and keep telling people what they collects sucks and what you like rules.
  9. Nice price on that oh and here is the better image of mine. I'm wander if the guy that put together the complete DC collection had one.
  10. It's actually on the bag not the book I will scan it again tonight when I get home from work
  11. I'm in California and I actually don't remember when I bought the book. I'm sure i didn't buy it for any other reason then to have a Batman 457 in my run. I buy stuff on the boards ,Ebay , online dealers , local shows and shops so it could have come from anywhere.
  12. Carl a board member of another site linked your graded Ebay listing. I checked my copy looks like a dozen now.
  13. Dang it I was scrolling down hoping this hadn't sold yet so I could sent Tom a PM about doing a payment plan But it wasn't meant to be congratulation's to both parties
  14. There is a ton of bashing both way's. I for one think both companies have something to offer me as a collector. Although this new rollout from CBCS is something I don't plan on using some people may feel different. Keep this in mind the service is $10 for a post 1975 book and $15 for a pre 1975 book . No restoration check and no slab just a mylar. Oh and there is a $250 FMV cap on the service. If I was sending in a book for grading I would just as soon pay the extra and get the restoration check and the slab.
  15. I have some books ready to enter just need to wait for CGC to pull them out of someone else set
  16. I agree with this 100% is it possible to get rid of the big " + Quote " box under all the post and maybe just turn it into a box with a different color other then the huge white area under each post. Please keep in mind the less huge white area's the better it is with less eye strain
  17. The font size doesn't seem to large although if in reducing it if you can tighten up the big spaces between different lines of text then yes please tighten everything up.
  18. We are adding the ability to create a negative balance in your PayPal account when we reverse a payment to cover eBay buyer protection claims that the seller loses This could be good for the scam sellers that sale something then drain the funds thinking they are clear. And from what I read I think it's goes from 3.5 to 4.7 for out of U.S transactions
