I enjoyed the show but I was really only on the show floor for a couple of hours. On the road trip there we like to discuss what the next show is going to be and our plan of attack and what were going to be looking for. Well during this discussion we realized Stockton con is about 2 weeks out and that will be the next con we're going to hit with that said short turnaround means less time to refill the warchest so I couldn't go too crazy. With that said here's some wall shots to enjoy

Con report for San Jose Comic con 2021.
Went to the north again the road trip was nice and smooth no traffic to really speak of and it was a nice trip.
I'm pretty sure this was a Steve Wyatt show as I saw him walking around talking to his team and policing the show floor. The line was long but when 10:00 hit we were on the florr in just a fee minutes. Masks all around which if this is the price for Comic cons to still be taking place I'm more then willing to pay that price

Getting ready to head out hopefully all the good books aren't gone by the time I get in
Ill try to get some pictures to give a feel how this "First time con" goes.

11-33 is the crux of that run, in my opinion, and those are classic comics. Larry Hama was having fun with that series, and it shows.
Those were a blast to read as they were coming out. (My first issue was 21, and I've since collected back to 1.)
I havent made it offical yet I want to finish the marvel run reading wise but the real cobra commander just kicked a dog. The man is a true villian.

Count: 75
G.I Joe : A real American hero (marvel) 1-75
Some Spoilers
I know I'm getting a late start but with just under 4 months left to go i'm going to give it a try. I've read alot of new releases this year from Marvel but I'm not going to count any of that. I have had a refocusing on my collecting and reading addiction. With that being said I have started with a new focus in reading :
1-10 are ok I don't think Larry Hama was quite hitting his stride yet, alot a characters were introduced and the foundation was put in place.
Somewhere in the mid teen issues they start hitting on all cyclinders. In the 20's you get issue 21 the classic you get some Snake eyes and Storm shadow origins Zartan becomes a Major player. I'm not going to touch on too much spoilers but DR. Vemon is killed and replaced with a better version DR. Mindbender. Serpentor is "made" and is pretty great. Cobra makes a Nation and tons of other crazy stuff is happening. Cobra commander is replaced by "Fred". The comics are so much better then the original cartoons.

All in all it was a fun show. I'm hoping they are able to get the old location back (or even a larger area then the old venue) it was tight. I think alot of books traded hand from what I could tell and after the first wave of people cleared out a little I was able to see most of what was in the rooms that I wanted to see.
