  1. You should add on variable commission rates based on the difficulty of obtaining the books at the onset. Based on his wishlist, you could waive commission on some "easy" to obtain books. Any savings or good deals should be passed onto him. There is no objective fairness here, just so long 2 able minded persons are willing to agree to terms. Time is money. He gets to keep his Time; you can get his money to lose yours.

I'm hoping it's fantastic to be honest.   And the Peter Jackson films set the bar high.   But the level of productions, outside of a few offerings seems to be suffering consistently across a number of studio's.   There's no momentum on quality work these days.

Yea agree with u . I'm a big fan of lotr as well as star wars but just based on following the production and other details, I sincerely believe (and hope) that it will be halfway decent. Obi wan had its moments but to me fell far short of what it could have achieved. Just glad that for lotr they are telling the story for the 2nd age which is so open to interpretation. In a similar vein, I hope one day they will make a proper series on the knights of the of the old Republic. Think fans would love that.

The LOTR looks like a lot of projects lately, no quality actors on board.   It could be another Obi Wan, once you get past Ewan McGregor, the rest is garbage.

Seriously doubt it. Its the most expensive series ever made at  1b budget. The effects look awesome. Hope the story is too. Ain't gonna be no obi wan.  And no famous names doesn't mean no quality actors. The casting for Galadriel looks spot on. The Force is with the Rings.

Maybe this is the beginning of what will probably be a long painful down trend. The market is in for at least a 30% correction. To high, to fast the last handful of years.

I sincerely hope you're right  but I do feel this needs to be qualified.  Yes perhaps on the whole we may see pieces see declining prices but the High end pieces ( or any piece for that matter)  just needs one trigger happy determined , recession proof person to buy whatever he/she wants and that price becomes the new price point.  Averages are useful but neva an absolute indicator.

Does anyone know where or how much a Batman 1 cover complete only would cost? I just bought it coverless complete and need a cover?

That's great. Did you buy it slabbed ? Never seen the front cover sold b4 but a complete front cover would go for an insane price.

It still does not make sense that he is Obi-Wan and weaker than lost padawans he stumbles across that barely have any training. He is not cut off from the force - he still used it to save Leia when she falls. They made a mistake in making him too weak IMHO, as it is really unbelievable now that he can mount any type of resistance to Vader or the weakest of the Inquisitors.

Understand what you mean but yea when I said he was cut off from the force, just pointing to the struggle he had just to save Leia. Its been 10 years and he has so called lost his way. In revenge of the sith, Yoda tells him he will teach him how to commune with Qui Gon but seems he did not heed Yoda's training or just got worn out over time. And to me that's perfectly possible. Obi wan simply has lost his faith. The Jedi have lost and he failed as a teacher and a friend. He thought he had killed anakin and failed padme. He is wholly defeated. A shell of a man.  But what does a hero do...he needs to find himself again. And with that realisation comes greater understanding. For me it wouldn't be realistic for him to remain "strong". This portrayal seems more realistic. He needs to empty himself first before he can find "enlightenment". And the journey has started with him agreeing to help leia.

I am getting tired of the weak old Obi-Wan routine. In A New Hope he is even older, has not trained/battled for even longer, and was more of a Jedi than they are portraying him to be in this show.

Episode 3 was going well until the whole Oldie-Wan vs Vader ending. After watching that scene, it makes you wonder how he ever beat Anakin in the first place.

Think it's quite understandable why he is weak. But the point in he is cut off from the force ( can't converse with Qui Gon) . The Obi Wan that eventually falls to Vader in a New Hope is far wiser and more powerful. This same Obi Wan kills Darth Maul years later effortlessly. Hope we see him accept what he needs to do or become by the end of this series.
