I purchased this book off the shelf when it was originally published. It's been stored ever since and has traveled with me from Southern Ontario to the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. I am noticing the huge interest in this book of late and I am considering getting it certified. The book lies perfectly flat with no creases, dents, bumps or blemishes. It has the "standard" printing/manufacturing error on the lower back of the cover (the "gripper tear" in the red box) and though the lower staple is tight it appears to have slightly "enlarged holes". My question is, how or if either of these "manufacturing defects" would effect the grade? Thanks for your thoughts and consideration.
