he already responded to this concept (which is really more myth than fact). If people want to buy books, they are going to sell them. The secondary market does not dictate the primary market
Also, and I mean this very seriously. If you think having another micro run variant on a book is going to destroy its value, or "confuse" people, then I say this:
The books value wasnt real to begin with.
Adding another super limited variant can not and will not destroy real value from a desired book. If it does have a negative impact, its simply waking people up to an over inflated value already there.
Hmmm interesting. With that being said, I wonder what it would cost to get a board exclusive micro variant. Id most likely be willing to front the money

I love me some NWM and I will certainly pick a few of these up but Im going to plea to E.S. to STOP THE MADNESS after this and the CBLDF book. Please no more variants months after the book has come out.

Personally I love variants [if they come out around the same time the standard issue comes out] but this is getting ridiculous and is watering it down for me.

haha after reading all this.. I just had to compile a list of boardies who I would never help out when I attend a show and they need a specific exclusive.
I fail to see how this was even an issue. I could only see it being a problem if Menace had gone behind the CBLDF's back to aquire these. He did not.
This happens at every show, every time.
I always see con exclusives stacked up at vendor's tables (marked up double or triple) on the 2nd and 3rd day and the original booth is sold out.
I've waiting in line for 8+ hours to get into a show only to find a line of vendors, VIPs, etc standing in line for the exclusive I waited for.
Good thing Nowhere Men is awesome.
Same goes for CBLDF.

I saw a Shadowman #1 blackout cover at my LCS this past weekend. I was thinking later in the series if NWM did this for one issue to end an arc or something since they have all been all white. I almost bought it just because how cool the cover was.
You should buy it if you havent read it yet. Excellent book so far

There's going to be butthurt either way. Personally, I don't see the problem selling them here(not all of them) instead of those that will attend the show and hoard/flip them. Not to mention $10 more per pook goes to a good cause. I don't get to go to cons often so I hope it all works out.

I just finished reading issue 4. Its a good read and IMO issue 5 and 6 will be insane. Things are coming together.

Issue #4 is a gateway to some real F`d up stuff coming in issue 5+6. We get a bit of insight as to who the killer might be

True, I had thought of that before posting. I wasnt around for the pre-ordering stage of Saga. Were people buying 100-200 copies right off the rip?

I sent my box off to CGC this morning. I packed a Nowhere Men Thought Bubble and a Bedlam 3 Phantom Variant. That Thought Bubble is going to be tough to get as a 9.8. If it comes back as a 9.6 I will buy another until I get my 9.8. Bedlam looks like a 9.9, easy! Here's wishing on a fast track

Had this book a different artist I think it would have been much better recieved. The art is very distracting.
I like Rossmo's art a lot.
It's expressive, disturbing and fits its characters perfectly.I agree!
