  1. A lot of the interior art posted looks closer to The Walking Dead than a 50s EC comic. I’ll stick with the originals.
  2. Thanks. Not too surprised. It’s an obvious risk in such a situation. Potentially millions of casualties worldwide. A terrible thought.
  3. I would always have been concerned about flatulence. Not a very dignified way to meet one’s end. Sure it would appear in the comedy parody version.
  4. Good idea to recharge by mixing it up a bit.
  5. Human Target 1 to 12, and Tales of the Human Target one-shot Really liked Tom King’s story. Greg Smallwood’s artwork is excellent, with a perfectly-matched 60’s, crime-noir retro look to it. 2024 total = 286
  6. The most EC-like artwork. Modern, but tonally similar. Shame about the rest.
  7. Just looks like a typical Oni or Image comic from the artwork. At least Alien Worlds and Twisted Tales, back in the 80s, had artwork with some degree of similarity and tone to the original books.
  8. I still want to watch Godzilla Minus One sometime this year.
  9. The Terry Dodson Action Comics image also looks more like a typical cover layout rough that many artists do before committing to a more detailed, more polished final version. You can see many actual cover preliminaries being used to pad out the page count of thinner trade paperbacks.
  10. Impressive that you have so many original raws, though.
  11. Yup. I’m looking forward to watching it as well. July’s too long off.
  12. Minimalist. Lois looks a bit like she’s drawn by Harvey Kurtzman. The composition and figurework are fine. My inner five-year-old approves.
  13. I did, but the attractive Ultimate Universe version. There’s also the Marisa Tomei version as well. The joke option had already been played out with Agatha Harkness.
  14. A safe pick. Always struck me as being a more old-fashioned, straight-laced kind of super-heroine.
