    Here is my unrestored Tec 2. Not sure if I've posted it by itself before. Doesn't come close to Eric Roberts' Church copy. All I can say is ...I always wanted to one day....but now more than ever I want to start collecting these early detectives I know that you are a big Flessel fan SW. In case you didn't know, this is Flessel's first cover.

    Thanks 1koko. Some of the ones I still need are not the rarest, I just haven't found them in the grade I want. Others may not even exist in the grade I want.

    In my opinion, this is one of L.B. Cole's best covers ever. It is not given its due in large part because it is so common.

    That's a real treasure. I am fairly sure you have never posted this before. I completely understand your approach to collecting. Like you, I prefer to take on long term projects that require a lot of focus and patience. True. But with what RHG is going after I suspect he'd be happier if he didn't have to measure "long term" using generations as the measurement. How true.

    BZ, thanks for posting those Mystery Men books. I really enjoyed seeing them. When you finish honoring all the other requests that have lined up, it would be great to see some of your early pre-hero DCs, e.g., Detective 1-26 (and a 27 for Ciorac) and New Adventure 12-32. In the meantime, I will continue to enjoy the show.
