  1. Yes. I am aware of one collection that the OO (still alive as far as I know) purchased on the stands including Action 1, Marvel Comics 1, and the other keys except for Tec 27. A LCS also appraised a different OO collection locally in the early 2000s for insurance purposes that had well read copies of all the GA keys (not sure if the owner of that collection is still around).
  2. +1 Fassbender is awesome in the role. I would love to see an Origin film for Magneto with him as the actor.
  3. Looks like the potential most important corporate booth, Legend 7 Brewing, will be not that far away from us so that works.
  4. I am curious to see what comes next for the GoT universe. I would love to see them continue with prequel (and sequel?) TV shows, but also mix in a feature film every year or two on the big screen to move major events forward.
  5. Don't worry, I have another long box or two of stuff tucked away that I will bring out for you to sift through and pay full GPA for.......
  6. They are getting the good raw stuff. I am bringing the junk to blow out in $2 bins.
  7. Nice to see Andy keeping up with this thread. Kevin, you need to repost the promo for Todd McFarlane and Jim Lee from last year to see if he is paying attention............
  8. I doubt that Madden is in consideration due to his height. He is just as tall as Ezra Miller, which means Gal Gadot will look down on him in heels, let alone Mamoa or Cavill (or whoever plays Supes next). John Hamm is a better pick from a physical perspective.

  10. I am really starting to like Euron as the sneaky villain on the show. He is doing a great job of replacing Little Finger from that perspective.
  11. You just might be a Redneck, I mean Targaryen, if your lover is an aunt who is the same age as you......
  12. The supply >>>> demand for PP 64. There are way more copies than buyers available, which results in muted prices. The book still sells at auction so there is some level of demand, but for highly available in high grade secondary CA first appearances there appears to be price resistance in the $500 - $600 range. It is only the A-listers (e.g Venom, Harley, Deadpool) that hit higher prices in CGC 9.8 right now (although NM 98 is still dropping). This will play out similar to SA and BA keys over the past 30+ years that I have been collecting - the big books rise highest first and then eventually the rest follow at a slower rate.
  13. What did the two 7.0 copies look like? That could be the reason for the big price difference. On the other hand, X-Men #1 in lower grades is still moving up. The last two sales for 3.0 and 3.5 are $4893 and $6500 respectively.
  14. Hopefully that ended with the departure of Chiapet.
  15. Just like most CA keys, the gains are muted long term after the first big run up since there are so many copies available. Look at NM 87, ASM 361 and any other CA keys that are in the $500 in CGC 9.8 club. They hit that level and plateau due to the number of copies out there. FWIW, BA 12, ASM 300, NM 98 and the other bigger CA keys have peaked and plateaued/pulled back as well.
  16. No, it ends at US Thanksgiving.......
  17. Rewatching Season 7 today, I forgot about how much fun Euron is as a villain. Hopefully he gets the throne for a short bit before they kill him off.
  18. I wonder if they will actually have a battle in the first episode or if it will just be a build up to the attack on Winterfell?
  19. If it is only at $196 WW now it may not even hit $300M worldwide. The film going to be pulled within 2 weeks to make way for Avengers Endgame. WB had a genuine hit family superhero movie on their hands and they screwed its box office total royally with poor scheduling.
  20. (That's supposed to be "exist" and referring to Copper age Canadian Newsstands, right?) All the time, because CGC is very inconsistent at labeling them properly? Because I'm pretty sure CGC recognized them from the start or close enough that you wouldn't be able to separate not recognizing them from the normal inconsistency they've demonstrated. They recognized them. But the submitter had to put the information on the submission form. And even then you have to double check all of the books when they post the invoices online. I still have one or two that they miss even when I mark them down on the electronic submission. I just noticed the other day that they mixed up the two Punisher LS 1s that I submitted late last year. I will have to get that sorted out now.....
