Now that the local spring show season is over I will be posting a bunch of my remaining slabs for sale here before they head off to Clink. NOTE: All of the books in the new holders have been pressed. The books graded in 2006 by the owner (second generation label) were not pressed prior to submission. I can't speak for the first generation label books as he bought them from other sellers. As usual, trumps PMs I have not responded to. Shipping Policy: Shipping for slabbed comics starts at $20 in a small box with tracking and insurance in Canada and the continental USA. Overseas shipping will be charged at the postal rate.

Enough to win it.

Did they buy it for the 1st Appearance of Batman, Thor or Spider-Man?

And some unscrupulous boardies were trying too hard to sell their books today (check out the yellow stickies). Not sure I agree with their tactics or how well they worked........

From a seller standpoint, this has been a nice show compared to the last two. Lots of pre-show buying on Wednesday between dealers and sales have been steady so far the first two days. Saturday and Sunday until 2:00 pm are typically the busiest days so hopefully things hold the rest of the way.

Wow. Sales were brisk during set up today. I hope it is a sign of things to come for this weekend!

Great work, Kevin. Keep the upgrades coming.

All of the X-Men semi-keys/keys have seen price jumps the past 6 months with the Disney acquisition. That being said, outside of #1 they are still cheap relative to other Marvel SA titles. The 1st appearance of Havok (#58) is another one to add to the list, as well as the 1st Sunfire (#64). With #58 you also get Neal Adams artwork.

Hopefully not for load in or load out. It can snow the rest of the show.

This is why ST 110 has fewer graded copies. Demand and value has been higher for TOS 39 so more copies have been graded. ST 110 has a long way to go to reach that point. Not having Dr. Strange on the cover hurts a bit as well, but it is not a key you get asked for at most shows........

Thanks. I prefer X-Men to the FF personally, but the FF is definitely a top 3 SA Marvel title. I posted the ASM run from the collection a short while ago in the ASM collecting thread. It was complete from #1 - 50 something, with multiples (restored and universal) of most of the early issues, thankfully.

What about the rest of us distinguished purveyours of funny books that build your collection?

Thanks. I lucked into a decent low to mid grade early FF run last August that these books will help to upgrade. Here is how the FF 1 GRR - 12 run looked (with a CGC 5.0 #4 from another purchase). The grades are all over the place, but it was nice to have an instant FF run, I guess.

I bought it in November on a Heritage auction. I had imbibed a bit and thought I was bidding on the 6.0 #5 instead. Thankfully, I was not bid up to my FF #5 max bid.

It does not have white pages, but this is another new addition. Both books were bought a few months back.
